Honeyberry Pancakes and Cafe

WOW! This is the third restaurant that has been in this location recently since the IHOP closed. I am sure hoping these guys stay! They have revamped it and it is such an inviting atmosphere. The staff is fantastic! Friendly, energetic and eager to please. The menu is quite large and the food is delicious - well, I can only speak so far for the breakfast but I plan to return and expand my options. The scrambled eggs with cheese were spot on, perfectly cooked. The hashbrowns - oh, the hashbrowns! They are little shredded crunchy pieces of perfectly seasoned potato heaven! I didn't even add ketchup - what? I know, right?! I upgraded a side and added the Nutella crepe. Great choice! I wasn't sure what to think about the shredded coconut topping but it was a nice addition. My daughter got the brioche french toast and said it was amazing. It was so thick and fluffy! The bacon was cooked perfectly for me - crispy yet chewy. No uncooked fat parts on it. The orange juice was so fresh and had no pulp, which my daughter loved. I'm a pulp person but I still enjoyed it. There is a bar area and the restaurant is very open with cute little cafe chairs. I imagine it can get loud in there when it's a busy time but it was such a great vibe when we were there. They were busy but not slammed. Food came out quickly and our server gave us plenty of time to talk and visit with each other while keeping an eye on our needs but not interrupting constantly. It was a great breakfast and I'm eager to try lunch next!

What a cute brunch spot. Uniquely original and modern. Fun food choices and portions bigger than most other brunch/ breakfast/lunch places in the area. Atmosphere is very modern and chill. From the fun dishes to the fun menu I enjoyed everything about this place. I tried the very unique Sigg and bacon, outstanding omelettes. It was the perfect combination with the pieces of fig, not making the omelette too sweet at all but just a hint and very savory and of course I could only eat half of it. The pancakes were the most amazing pancakes I’ve had with a touch of sweetness, they also have a wide variety of fun pancakes. The omelettes are six egg omelettes so they are quite large. The crapes looked absolutely amazing and the coffee was a decadent dark roast. Thank you Jesus! Service was prompt and accurate. Parking easy. No wait. Just a great place. I will definitely be back.

Reanna was the most amazing, friendly, helpful waitress I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing. Love love love her.

Food is wonderful, and the portions are better than similar places in the area. The veggie skillet was on point. As and added bonus their latte is a nice decent size. Highly recommend trying it out.

Debbie is amazing. She waited in us and really made our day. She is wonderful and so good with our kids.

I have 2 suggestions for the restaurant:
1) the eastern seating area is an echo chamber, it needs something to absorb some of the noise from all the table conversations. It is way louder than being near the bar.
2) the hostesses need to be more aware of what tables are open. We have been on the waitlist for over and hour and it took my wife asking how much longer to get action. She was told there just weren’t any available tables for 6, amd when she asked if there was only one then a hostess finally looked at the may ‘maybe we can seat them here’.

I know there hasn’t been a grand opening yet, and we are some of the most patient people you’ll find. The reason I call it out is to help improve it for the future customers

Recommend 100%. Everything was fantastic. They had combinations of food they were awesome. Eggs Benedict over biscuits and gravy!! Super friendly and good service.

We absolutely love this spot. Both for a family breakfast place and even a breakfast date place. The food is amazing…so many wonderful options and I highly suggest the espresso martini for a drink. Servers are so sweet with great communication skills. Jon and Courtney at the bar are also fun and check in often. You’ll notice the manager constantly making sure tables are greeted and even helps bust them to keep everything moving along. This is our go to spot on Sundays!

Went for brunch with bottomless mimosas. The wait was an hour but the food was delicious. I recommend getting anything with the honeyberry signature topping. The best part of the bottomless drinks was the honeyberry Belini.

PROs: Great location, plenty of parking. Customer service was great. Food was also good. Beautiful island vibe decor and ambience. Love the green juice smoothie. John (waiter) was professional and attentive.
CONs: There's always traffic on Justin Rd. Hashbrowns were too salty.

Y'all got to try this place. The food was great. Brunch cocktails were amazing, wait staff was in point, the place was very clean. We found our new weekend breakfast spot for sure!

This was my first time here, and I was pleasantly surprised by my experience.
I was invited by my son who wanted to try this place, and as we parked, he said he did hear one thing that made him wary. He said he had heard someone say they had to wait an exceptionally long time to be served and just as he said it I noticed that there were two small busses dropping of several good Size groups of senior citizens. I said to my son, "Well, these folks are going to test their service ability." After confirming that he still wanted to go in, we fell in behind the second group and were quickly ushered to a table. Within a minute, we had someone ask for our drink order and give us menus, and soon a pot of coffee was brought to us. We volunteered to pour our own cups, and he said the waiter would be with us in a moment. Right on time, the waiter took our order. I ordered the Egg White Fratata with spinach and feta cheese. My son ordered his standard Chicken Fried Steak. Quicker than expected, the dishes arrived. I was immediately impressed by the size of the portion on the plate. It smelled tremendous, and I couldn't wait to taste it. Oh my God, it was delicious! I usually put hot sauce on most of the omelets and egg white creations I've ordered, but I was so happy with the flavor of this dish that I thought it was sacrilegious to reach for the Chololah. The Feta cheese and Spinch were perfectly balanced. I cut the pieces smaller than I usually do because I wanted to extend the pleasure as much as possible. The coffee tasted great, the fruit I ordered was really fresh and flavorful. When the waiter came back to check on us, I told him that this was one of the best tasting breakfasts I'd ever had in a restaurant. They have two variations of the Fratatas, and I can't wait to go back and try the Roasted Tomato and Gouda version. On every level, the team at Honeyberry Pancakes exceeded my expectations. My son said that his Chicken Fried Steak was delicious also. Very well prepared and easy to eat.
I highly recommend anyone looking for something new to try this place. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Man... The chorizo chilaquiles was one of the best dishes I have had. Absolutely terrific. Had a bite of the "cereal killer" French toast which was also very nice. Our server Mariya did an exceptional job, praise to her please! Will be returning and recommending.

This restaurant joins the other great breakfast restaurants in this area.

They had some solid gluten-free options for pancakes and waffles.

I appreciated the fresh and different omelette options.

Their scratch corned beef hash was delicious.

The kids meal options were perfect.

Service was timely and helpful.

So much goodness...where do I begin?! First, best decorated breakfast join in DFW, seriously - such a great attention to detail. This includes the bar seat availability. Other than old school diners, you rarely see an option to sit at the counter for breakfast and as someone who dines alone, I cannot tell you how happy it makes me to see seating that does not feel so lonely - seriously well played. OK, the actual meal - really great! I love the specialty coffee options but the straight coffee being delivered in a carafe for the table is a favorite. Then the food. Wow. My son had the Red Velvet pancakes, which were incredible and I had a havarti, fig and bacon omelet...what? The flavors were so perfect together and honestly nothing I would have thought to do on my own. The entire experience was great - please go check it out! Chances are, I will be there!

Great Coffee and breakfast options! It was very busy, but that didn't impact the great and attentive service, so kudos to the staff!

The food and the service were excellent. It was our waitress' first day but you'd never know it! Great brunch place after church. We will definitely be back.

Our family loves going to Honeyberry! It feels like we get the most value out of our meals. The portions are always fantastic and the food is so good. Our kids are kind of tired of it because we come so often (they’ll be ok I promise 😂) but that speaks to how much we love HB!

First time visitor with a large group and service was very efficient. I had a Momosa (delicious and refreshing) and corn beef and hash.

Got a group of 10 sat in 15 mins at 12. Really good food. Amazing French toast churro things. Eggs benny was on point. Chorizo chile quiles was really tasty. One of the best bloody Mary’s I’ve had in a while. No complaints about anything. Rhianna our server was fantastic.
