By far, this is THEE BEST TRITIP SANDWICH! I drive 40 minutes to get this sandwich and it IS worth the drive! The meat is just right and very lean! The service is always friendly and quick! This is a must go to place while in Thousand Oaks!

Love this place and the food. However, the outdoor seating has a lot of flies nearby. So I just usually take out.

I ordered 2 round ups, which is a pick up order for everything to serve 40 people. The staff did a great job putting it all together with care and loading it for me. The guests raved about the food.

Without giving a culinary instruction on the many styles of BBQ, I will add that if you like "dry rub" BBQ, barbecue means different things to different people in different places. The best is unquestionably Meatlocker. There is truly no need for sauce because the beef and pork ribs are so good. Till 5:00 p.m., they are open. There is only outside seating, so there isn't a lot of it, but if you want outstanding BBQ, this is the one!

If you want Ribs (Beef and Pork Baby Back) and Tri-Tip cooked slow over coals NOT gas/propane, this is the place. Great Sandwiches too and they have some interesting sides like Pesto Pasta and their Chili is unique and 1 of a kind. My favorites are the Manly Tri-tip sandwich, #3 which is the Beef Ribs w/2 sides or a 3 meat combo if I'm starving - 3 meats plus 2 sides for under $20 is an ABSOLUTE STEAL!

One of my fave go to lunch spots for BBQ! Tri Tip and grilled chicken breast are always a good choice for a nice lunch paired with potato salad and macaroni salad. If you enjoy beef jerky I recommend trying their homemade peppered as it is it delicious as well! Been coming here for a year now and glad to have a nice place close to work but get here fast as they sometimes run out during the busy lunch rush!

This is one of the oldest buildings and restaurants in Thousand Oaks! They have the best Tri Tip sandwich around. There's a meal with beans and macaroni which is pretty good! You can park in back and walk through the store to the front if theres no parking!

The food here is great, and so affordably priced. The Meat Locker makes every other barbecue joint I've been to in California look like a garbage can.

Always love coming here brings up so many memories of when I was little & my gpa would bring me to get ribs. When he passed I made sure to start bringing my own kids here. Foods always excellent & the service is always good. Def recommended, I get the tri-tip chicken combo plate my kids & bf get ribs & tri-tip sandwiches. "Chefs kiss"

This is 1 of the best BBQ places on the Westcoast and probably 1 of the best I've ever eaten in my life! The owners are great people who run this AMAZING restaurant. They also take orders for there seasoning and sauces to be shipped anywhere in the United States!

Beef Ribs done right; this is the only place in the Conejo Valley for ribs.

T.O. Meat Locker has too many great things to list on a review, and as one of the oldest businesses in the area I consider it a total local treasure.

We've eaten here a handful of times and have yet to be disappointed! The food is simple, as they don't go overly complicated and ruin the fantastic meat! You can even watch the meat smoke on the grill right off the sidewalk. We have gotten the chicken, tri-tip, pulled pork, beer ribs and pork ribs as well as several of the side dishes, and found all to be tasty! There is outdoor seating under the trees as well as a handful of indoor tables, handy for when it actually rains in these parts!
