We had a nice family dinner and they took us with a reservation of 8, no problem. The food was delicious, their pretzels and queso was amazing! They have a nice draft selection. They are a restaurant and a pub, two separate entrances. Great place to catch a game and eat with friends and family!

This place is amazing. It may feel like a bar, but the food is to die for. My husband and I have been here for drinks (the beer variety is awesome) and also just to dine. There's a beautiful tree-shaded courtyard to dine outside. Inside, the decor is warm and welcoming. The food never disappoints. Definitely try the Chicken and Vegetable Pie, Cornish Pastie, and Pot Roast. I just tried the Sticky Toffee Pudding and it was delightful. Everything tastes scratch made and the portions are great for the price.

Went to listen to music. Had a wedge salad that was the best I ever had. My son had a chicken sandwich on flatbread and said it was really good. The French fries were ok. I would definitely go back.

Currently my favorite place to grab a pint. Their fries and spicy curry (pictured) are amazing!! Dinner menu has a ton of classic British foods and great beer selection.

Abigail did a great job and was very patient with our large party. She sang the birthday song for my mom whom wes were celebrating at her favorite pub. We pregamed at the bar and I couldn't help noticing the bartender was not friendly and borderline rude, but that didn’t ruin the experience overall, just unfortunate as it is a social job where smiles are expected. Will definitely recommend Crown and Anchor for anyone looking for a delicious fish and chips in a classy diamond pleated booth for holiday. 5 stars across the board.

I wanted a English breakfast or as close as I could find that LA offers and after some Googling I decided that Crown and Anchor was my best shot since they offer an all day Brittish Breakfast as part of their regular menu.

The eggs were cooked perfectly, the banger was tasty, the back bacon and beans were tasty and had a grilled tomato. There was a toast as well.

My mom is a big fan of sausage rolls so I gave that a try too and was very impressed with them. Great, flaky crust and sausage.

They have a nice, outdoor patio under a big tree. Overall a great place to have breakfast foods for a tasty lunch.

Great for watching morning football (soccer) matches. I watched the Arsenal vs Liverpool match on Sunday and the crowd atmosphere was great. All civilized. The food was tasty and the coffee kept pouring. Service staff was helpful and courteous. We’ll be back soon to watch more Premier League games.

Excellent British food and amazing drinks served by a friendly, professional staff in pleasant surroundings. What more could you ask for! My son says the Crown and Anchor is his new favorite restaurant, and I tend to agree with him;)

I had the Shepard's Pie on my first visit, which I really enjoyed. However, I especially enjoyed the Toad in the Hole I had the following weekend even more. The Bloody Mary they make is second to none, and always gets the weekend off to a great start!

UPDATE: I have had the Full English Breakfast my last few visits. It is exceptional!

Thanks Crown and Anchor!

As one with an English heritage, I've had an enjoyable experience dining at several locations in and near San Fernando Valley. To discover the Crown & Anchor was to finally be satisfied with the fact that a favourite dish: toad in the hole, was available on the menu. It's been years since tasting good Yorkshire pudding with bangers in a hot onion gravy sauce, and the results were most satisfying, taking me back to the U.K., among other fine English fare that my two companions thoroughly enjoyed, as well. Good form to include the English breakfast available all day, with the obligatory beans on toast, among other simple fare, while the bangers & mash always appealed well for its simplistic, but very satisfying results. Our servers were gracious and prompt about the service provided, and thorough in maintaining safety and health regulations per pandemic circumstances, but the establishment offered plenty of seating, both indoor and outdoors, with proper safety guidelines followed by everyone. The interior itself is a beauty unto the British scene with wonderful seating arranged in half-circled booths of vinyl-like upholstery that provide space for 4-5 persons, with a quieter, large chamber, and the pub to another room with plenty of sports monitors for those who enjoyed a noisier social scene, and an open expanse outside, with a tented arrangement for when crowds become too large. All in all, the Crown & Anchor has done well to provide a pleasant experience in food, decor, and general service. I wish it the best of success and prosperity, with thanks to the staff who provided for us, and satisfaction for everyone who dines at this beautiful British establishment. Thank you.

We had a great lunch last week at the crown and anchor. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Food was delicious ( fish & chips, Cornish pastie). Great service. We sat in the bar and watched a lively soccer game. We will be back!

If you're a soccer fan, there is no other pub in the Valley you'd rather be at. You will not miss a game during peak season.

Great beer choice, great English fare, great crowds... and GREAT prices!! For two, we spent a little over $40 including tax and drinks.

The *only* caveat is parking. Don't expect to find it during Match Day if you're getting there five minutes before Game Time.

BUT, rest assured... you have a Guest for Life in me. BIG fan.

As out of towners, we came here by seeing it off the street and it looked intriguing so we gave it a try. My what a lovely place full of British charm and an impressive menu of Brit favorites plus. We had steak and mushroom pie and the creamy chicken marsala with angel hair pasta. Both were excellent. Hubby loved the pie's beefy gravy and got an extra bit for his leftovers which he enjoyed the next day. I couldn't believe all juicy pieces of chicken in the marsala entree. I'm not usually a fan of angel hair but it was perfect for this dish. We look forward to another visit if we're in the area again.

My favorite fish and chips in Thousand Oaks is here at Crown and Anchor. I always order the King Fish and Chips where I get two large pieces of fish with cups and peas 😀.
In the evening they are known for live music and trivia.

If you are stuck in traffic on the 101, like I was, google this place and immediately drive to it. The basics were covered. Good service, good prices, great food. I need to mention the quality of the Scotch egg. It was really good. Made in house and cooked to order. They were perfect. Better than a Ginsters from the 24hr BP. Look out for Brody, he'll look after you proper at the bar. All in all, I couldn't of been happier to find this place.
