A 5 star average doesn’t surprise me! This was such a cute little coffee shop. They roast their own beans (which tasted amazing). The branding and interior design was on point. And the service was fast! They know their craft and do it well. I ordered a Cortado and it was lovely.

This was the cutest place! It’s so nice to have a roaster and coffee shop on this side of the greater Twin Cities. It’s very cozy on the inside with a few chairs. The coffee was very smooth and delicious. They have oat, almond, and soy milk options. The pastries looked so good too, and there were even gluten free options.

My iced vanilla oat milk latte is always wonderful here. Love the new interior from the woodwork to the lights. The best thing though is the owners and the customer service, all of the people I’ve interacted with are so friendly. So thankful to have high quality coffee along with friendly people behind the counter back in a Lake Elmo coffee shop.

The scone I had was also fantastic, not too dry like some can be.

Other excellent baked goods. Great place to grab to go or stay and enjoy your coffee and baked goods.

Easily the best Coffee Shop in Washington County.

This may be the only specialty coffee shop in the East Metro, and it's also my new favorite. The espresso drinks are perfectly balanced and flavorful, the bakery items are fresh baked and delicious, and they make amazing specialty drip coffee as well. The atmosphere is cozy. You can tell they put a lot of love into their work and it shows.

Excellent tasting coffee drinks with fresh roasted beans of many variety! Local vibe with a uniquely personal and welcoming atmosphere. It is bright and colorful. Pastries are homemade and consistently yummy. Congratulations on building this wonderful community-focused coffee venue. Positivity flows here as smooth as my personal favorite drink, the BREVE! Love this place and happy to be part of this community of coffee lovers.

They have great coffee, there bakery items are a great selection. I royally enjoyed the coffee cake with the coffee and hot chocolate. They also use really good honey in the coffee I had. They also sell their own coffee beans too.

Cozy spot to relax, meet friends or work in adorable downtown Lake Elmo. There are seating areas both inside & out. Friendly staff, a great menu & delicious baked goods and coffee (I loved the cheddar & chive scone & oat milk latte)! Happy to have this gem nearby & will definitely be back!

The in-house roasted coffee is delicious and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Honduras is my favorite and I'll be returning regularly to restock my coffee supply.

Absolutely the best coffee shop in the area! Amazing staff and incredible coffee and pastries. It’s always such a fun place to visit and get some work done.

My daughter and I stopped here Friday 4/28/23 on K day off. We had a great time. The owners were so welcoming and personable. The atmosphere was full of light and so joyful. It's a place you will want to gather and we will visit time and time again. There were educational magazines for my 6yo to read. No matter what age you'll like it here and want to stay for the sense of community they have created. It is truly a gem in downtown Lake Elmo. Great small coffee shop. Food and coffee tasted great. Went here thinking I could work for a few hours for a change of atmosphere. Not ideal for that but I will be back.

The staff at sunshine are the friendliest around. The energy in the space is wonderful, and this place is exactly what lake Elmo needed. Delicious coffee & pastries, great vibes.

First time stopping in. The place is just very calm and welcoming. Super smooth coffee, had a mocha and enjoyed it out on the patio/sidewalk area. They even had a nice water bowl out for dogs. Will be back for sure!

Wonderful “secret” coffee shop. Coffee and scones are excellent. I go because the staff are the bright sunshine that starts my day perfectly.

They roast their own. I only drink espresso and it was yummy. Next time, I'll try a scone. Great little coffee shop. Not much seating, unfortunately.

This is such a wonderful coffee spot in Lake Elmo! Our group had several different coffees and everyone loved what they ordered. We had the miel latte, an iced cortado, and a salty maple latte. We also had a scone and muffin and they were absolutely delicious! Our toddler gave them two thumbs up and begrudgingly shared. The cafe is bright and happy, and the service was incredible. Will definitely be back! ☀

I had some of their coffee and pastries when my crew used their shop for a filming location. I enjoyed the coffee so much that I left with a bag of their Colombian Decaf roast! It's a gorgeous little shop with bright, natural lights, and comfortable seating. My latte was perfect, and the scones + cookies were incredible!

Amazing little coffee shop in Lake Elmo! Finally really good coffee that is not a chain! I stopped in for their ‘soft opening’ today and loved my latte. Great coffee with local whole milk. Plus a bright, cheerful atmosphere. I will definitely be a regular here!
