Foods of the Mediterranean

I can’t begin to explain how delicious every item I’ve ever had from Foods of the Mediterranean is. Everyone who works there is very sweet and knowledgeable about all the items, their ingredients, and health benefits. I stop in once a week and my meal prep is done for me! I feel super fit and healthy and it’s all because I get to eat the most delicious for in the world..

The food here is incredibly fresh, delicious, and served by incredibly warm and kind people. We stopped here on a whim and we're genuinely surprised by the quality of everything. Absolutely making it a regular when we stop by the farmers market, totally recommend it to anyone.

Great food from what I tried. ( vegan falafel sandwich) & green wrap that has white rice in it. All was great. Only thing I would work on is, the gentleman that asked to leave a review. I got you, the 1st time. I Already was going to. Asking two more times while I’m still working on eating if I had done it. 😒. Be less pushy.

Everything about this place is top notch. Freshly made gyros, right infront of your own eyes. Salads and hummus are all fresh. Pastries and other baked goods are also excellent (dare I mention the baklava). Staff is always warm, quick, and friendly! Today, they were giving free samples of a new Turkish salad (similar to a fresh salsa) which was out of this world!

Got the Gyro (with feta) and fries. The iced tea and fries (very crispy) are made to order. The owner is extremely friendly and talkative. All around a nice and memorable experience. Plus, it's at the low end of the market with less hustle and bustle.

First time trying this spot at the Allentown Farmers Market, and I’ll definitely be back. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed mango juice over ice. The staff are bustling and take great care of you. Overall a yummy fun experience!

I have been to this place two times, now, and I like it so much that I feel compelled to leave this review. Foods of the Mediterranean offers a large and varied selection of mediterranean cuisine at more than fair prices! My famiy and I have enjoyed everything that we have tried so far. But what makes this place extra special is the fast and very freindly service. There is a small counter to eat at, but we like to go there and order a big take out order so that we have enough food to last two days.

This food was amazing!! I got a falafel sandwich and my friend got the lamb shawarma, and we both loved our food! I highly recommend the mango drink and the teas. Overall wonderful experience, and the workers are so nice and conversational.

I first tried their food 15 years ago and since then it’s hard to truly enjoy Mediterranean food anywhere else! Their gyro meat is SO moist and tasty, the hummus is creamy and perfectly balanced with garlic and lemon, the cauliflower with tahini made me LOVE cauliflower, and any eggplant dip is a hit! Compared to Foods of the Mediterranean, other places are a disappointment! Honestly- you’ll never want to go anywhere else!

Hands down, the best Mediterranean this side of the Valley.
It’s hard to compete with the variety, kind hearted service, speed of service and prices at Food of the Mediterranean!
And for the vegetarians, the menu is incredible!
Come sit and get lunch or grab your entire picnic party.

Me and my wife have been looking for a healthy way to eat. This is a goldmine for that. I have purchased everything to try and have not been disappointed with the taste of anything. I recommend you try this place if you are looking to transition from less meat and more healthy eating.

Ive coming here for years. The hummus is the best I've ever tasted. The ONLY dowsize is that there aren't more restaurants of yours around. 100% clean and fresh.

We've been coming here for many years and are always pleased with food, service, and staff. This is one of our all-time favorite places. The staff is more than friendly - they remember you, treat you like family, and are always glad to answer questions. Food is outstanding. The grape leaves here are the standard by which my kid judges all others and the herbed feta is absolutely dynamite!

They make great authentic sweets, salads and sandwiches. Top notch, treat yourself to a Chicken Shawarma. 🔥
