Penny's Diner

What a gem. This chic took the best care of our food and us, remarkable! I only snapped a pic of my meal, unfortunately didn't get my wife's meal, which she loved! The employee on 2/10/24 @ 9am - cares about her job. I would highly recommend this place. This is your classic diner - reminded me a lot like Waffle House, only better!

I almost always have the cinnamon roll because they are awesome. I had eaten today already but my husband hadn't. He had the cheese burger and fries. It was done perfectly. He hates when they are dry. Great 50's 60's music. A/c Friendly helpful workers. Kept us refilled. We'll be back as usual.

If you don't know what I'm talking about I'll explain. For those that do...... It's the best greasy spoon I have been to in almost 40 years. Now for those that don't understand...... A greasy spoon is a in the corner out of the way mom and pop restaurant. It's small, but has great food. Don't know if there are more Penny's restaurants, but if not there needs to be. Less and less of these around these days. Reminded me of my childhood.

Cute dinner car with good food, great service. Old time atmosphere. Always wanted to stop and glad we did!

This place is amazing! The food was great and we got to watch it being made right in front of us. The breakfast burritos were huge, the picture doesn't do it justice. We asked for ranch and we were given a nice sized bowl of it, not the little rinky dink cups other places give to you. We will definitely be going back soon.

Haven't eaten there yet but reminds me of Mickey's diner in St.Paul. love these classic diners.

Had the hopped up hash browns. So good. We took an order to go.

They went above normal service and took time to prepare my food the way I like it. Staff was friendly and cheerful and the restaurant was very clean. Im so happy I came to eat here! Darnel was very personable and helpful on scanning their menu from a QR code. Dillon is a fantastic chef, he even came to my table to make certain he understood how I liked my food prepared. Cannot say enough about this diner!! Very inpressed!! My grandmother owned a restaurant and my uncle is a gourmet chef. I'll be back several times during my visit to MN.

Good food, great service. Can order in app, which I nice for a diner. Reminded me of a waffle house in the way it was laid out. Open 24 hours a day and breakfast was served all day.

Even though they're short staffed everyone was friendly and polite, and the food was delicious.

The waitress Aura was just glowing with happiness and kindness. The food was absolutely amazing. I will definitely eat here again.

When the cook blew out his knee, Darnell came in on a moments notice and saved the day, his service and smile were exceptional, even in the most trying times, he delivered an excellent meal. Would definitely eat here again when Darnell is working.

The girls behind the counter are super friendly (Ask for Michelle. She's a sweetheart.), and the cooks definitely know what they're doing. Especially Dillan. He's a little goofy looking, but he makes the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. ✌

24 hour diners with counter service are harder and harder to find. Running across this place at 5:30am on a road trip was really quite a blessing. The breakfast I order was made quickly and tasted quite good. Nothing spectacular, but they know what they're doing. A quaint little place with a nice hint of 50's nostalgia.

Things are finally shaping up. It's become a nice place to go to again, minus the new general manager who doesn't seem to know what being a manager entails. Good food, good and friendly service. Dillon is a riot, always a smile when he is working. Jada is very respectful and kind. And Nikki is wonderful, and pours her heart and soul into this place. Glad we gave this place another chance and made friends with some of the new employees.

Food has always been great! Last time the food wasn't as good as usual but the other times have been so great that the bar is held very high now.

Went in at 9pm on a Sunday, 6 of us. Great food. Good service. Waitress and cook had good personalities, we were loud and laughed alot. Forgot one if our orders but made it quickly. Food was good.

Such a great little slice of classic Americana. A retro-feel fountain grill with super fantastic menu options to select from. Breakfast is available all day. Oh Yeah;- it is open 24/7 also (except for holidays, I think 🤔.)

I absolutely LOVE Penny's Diner! The food is awesome and so is the price! You get nice big portions and good service!

The staff was friendly and fun, food was delicious and the place was very clean.
