We are very lucky to have this location in manchac. All of the other locations in South Austin are painfully understaffed and the line can go out the door. They are kind and always get you in and out very quickly. Happy holidays and thank you for what you do!

Every time I’ve been here, the employees have been friendly and fast. It’s never taken more than 10-15 minutes to get in and out, even when there is a long line of customers. I’ll always choose this location if possible.

I like this post office location more than any other in the South Austin area. There is rarely a line and the staff are always pleasant and helpful, no matter the day or time. I think there may be some confusion by people concerning the location on Manchaca ROAD, which is not the same location as this one.

I have never had an issue with this USPS location on FM 1626. I actually prefer this location than the Mockingbird Station on Menchaca Rd. The longest I have had wait in line is maybe 10 minutes and that was over the holidays. Great customer service.

I am pretty sure that most of the bad reviews listed here, are not actually about this location on 1626 in Manchaca, but more about the Mockingbird Station on the newly renamed 'Menchaca' Rd!

I've been coming to the 1626 post office for many years and have never had a bad experience at all!! I am accustomed to the folks who work the counter because there is very little turn over. The line is rarely long and if it is, it usually moves quickly. I will take the 1626 post office over any other in the area, ANY DAY!

And to the lady who complained about them not taping your box for you, unless you are not physically capable of doing so, they do have each person normally tend to their own packaging...that's probably the reason there is not normally a line. They aren't doing it to be rude,

Clean- respectful- quick service. I appreciated the additional help and how they went out of their way to accommodate my key change.

I have been going here to ship off online purchases for a few years and have never had a problem. The staff is friendly and patient, and have stayed open a few minutes after closing to help me make sure my packages get shipped off that day.
(For all the other frustrated reviewers, this is NOT the Mocking Bird station!)

Went in for a passport. We had made an appointment and were scheduled late in the day. Eli, the employee that helped us and took our passport photo was very patient, courteous and knowledgeable. A pleasant experience.

I don’t know what all the 1 star reviews are about. This is my preferred post office, the staff is so friendly, personable & Ron keeps it fun even if the lines are long. I’ve only had great experiences here.

The postal employees here are just the nicest, very knowledgeable and efficient! Small post office! Very clean! Lots of parking.

Just moved to the area and needed to get a key/lock for my mailbox. Was so much easier and quicker than I thought it would have been. There were even people in line and it still went fast.

Love the guys here. So nice as it relates to customer service. I drive extra miles to get here so I don’t have to go to my local Austin office because of the staff. ❤❤❤

Unfortunately this isn’t “my” post office, but I choose to go here for my outgoing packages and mail because of the staff. They’re fun, they care, and I always feel taken care of efficiently.

Love that they open at 7:30am. Always quick & easy to do business. They are always happy to help you.

Switched to this post office for my business shipping needs because the Mockingbird post office lets my shipments sit around for 3 days before getting them into circulation.

All of the complaints are not talking about the post office 78652, they are referring to the Mockingbird station 78747. Lol!!!

I rent a box here, and the people have always been nice.
