LT9 Tea Blends - Pasadena

During my trip to LA, I discovered LT9, a milk tea shop that truly impressed me. Their drinks strike the perfect balance between authentic flavor and healthiness, satisfying my cravings without any guilt.

I'm a tea brewer and quite picky, but LT9 gives me the authentic taste of tea while not overtaking the flavor of the fruit. I especially loved their Blueberry Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea, both are not too sweet. Can't wait for them to expand to New York!

Tea spot with high quality leaves (you can buy tea leaves only too). I ordered the house milk tea at 25% sweet in hot and 50% in cold.
Tea runs on the less sweeter side (which is what I prefer), so adjust your order as preferred.
Service was fast and the guy on the counter was super friendly.
Ambiance was quiet when I first got there but more people showed up while I was waiting. There is ample seatings for people who are waiting. Mostly a take out spot instead of eating in, but they do have a food/snack menu.

LT9 Tea Blends is a modern minimalist tea shop in Pasadena (in the SGV neck of the woods of LA) with a Signature Pure Tea Collection that sources premium and quality tea internationally (Taiwan & Sri Lanka). There are so many tasty drink options on their menu, like the Sunset Series, Fruit Teas and Matchas (my personal fave!). The figurative cherries on top for me are ✨their unique toppings: milky jelly, handcraft mochi, cubes & noodle, cheese foam, organic oat, and crystal boba✨

Delicious fruit tea and boba tea made to your desired sweetness level. Order on tablet or with helpful staff. Still in soft opening in late October 2023. Not a place to hang out, just order your tea and go.

Delicious teas, friendly staff and a gorgeous Bold Minimalism aestheric interior. Highly recommend the Earl Grey milk tea.

Cute little place on a street corner! Nice and clean and offers a good selection of teas and coffees. I ordered online but made a mistake and they were able to remake my drink! Would recommend stopping by!

Heard there was a new boba place in Pasadena and decided to try it out.

The service was great! The employees here is very friendly. They had a sample of the Ruby Milk Tea - 100% sugar that I was able to try.

The ruby milk tea was good for 100% sweetness! It’s not too sweet and is also sweet enough! The balance between those two is usually what I look for whenever I go to a boba place.

I usually go with fruit tea, but after trying it, I ended up getting the ruby milk tea with boba 50% sweetness. The boba itself was ok. It could be better. It could also be a bit sweeter in my opinion. I did 50% because I thought the boba was going to be a lot sweeter like other boba places and thought it would make my drink too sweet. Otherwise, I would have went with 75% or 100% sweetness.

My wife got the Apple black tea 75% sweetness with the cubes and noodles as the topping. It was good when I tried it! The cubes and noodles is similar to like crystal boba, but slightly softer and I think it tasted better!

Looks like they use real fruits!! Yay! I know some places uses syrups, but we were able to see the employee wash the apple and use it for the drinks.

I do love how they give you information about the tea they use and their strength level. They also have information about the drink when you use their ipad/tablet to order. It talks about the drink which is really helpful when deciding!

The atmosphere feels nice and calming! I do love the plants by the windows!

If you like the drinks not on the sweeter side, I would recommend this place! I was able to taste the tea for my drink!

Knowing that this place uses real fruits, I do wish for more fruit drinks without milk. I love fruit drinks with tea!

Cute tea place in old town Pasadena! Is delicious specially for the Ceylon milk tea and the Jasmine milk tea. The sweet I ordered 25%. Which’s good enough for my diet lol

Cute new tea spot in an already saturated market in Old Town Pasadena. Might be one of my favorites though because of the great service and the fresh tea.

They have a pretty simple menu but the t's all tasted really pure (as advertised) and I really like the aesthetic of the shop. I could definitely see myself hanging out here and catching up with friends.

That drinks are pretty reasonably priced compared to other options and the staff is really friendly and helpful in picking. They also gave some free samples of their baked goods which were great as well.

Parking around this area is pretty rough though. There are a few parking structures around and one of them a few blocks south has 2 hours for $1. Believe the parking structure is on green and Fair oaks.

Also give their cube and noodles topping a try. I was put off at first but so glad that I tried it. It's basically just a different form factor of boba.

In a town saturated with boba tea shops, LT9 is of the purest and richest flavor I’ve had BY FAR. Other shops seem to be drowning in unhealthy artificial sugars & cheap synthetic syrups, LT9 however has that pure refreshing & natural Taiwanese tea taste. 😎👌🏻

The quality of tea is AMAZING, you can easily get drinks here with 0% sugar and they taste absolutely phenomenal. There’s 14 boba places in old town at the time I write this, and I’m rating this as my #1, especially if you care about the quality of tea and fresh fruit. Wish they had some seating to hang out and work- hope tables come soon.

The pearls are perfectly chewy, enhancing the overall texture. It's clear that the shop prioritizes quality ingredients. While the menu might not be extensive, the focus on perfection in their offerings more than compensates. A must-visit for boba aficionados :)

Their tea is very yummy and it’s not too sweet! so if you usefully get 25% sugar somewhere else you would be happy with 50% sugar here

Really good tea and reasonably priced. Very nice staff who want to make sure you like your drink. Definitely check this place out if you're in town.
