Amazing launch. Everything about this coaster is fun for what it is, even though it may not be a closed-circuit coaster. Going at 100 mph flying backwards (where you fall face-down) or forwards (where you have no clue what is going on and free fall 400 feet backwards) is absolutely incredible for its adrenaline rush. Also, it’s not scary at all; don’t let the stats fool you (a 10 sec ride). The theming is fantastic, and the ride also comes with an air-conditioned station, which is undoubtedly the best in the park. This feels like Superman.

Very thrilling! You are launched forwards (sometimes you can go backwards) at 0-100 in approx. 7 seconds up a 415 ft tall tower, but you only usually make it up like 3 quarters of the way. The acceleration is smooth and gradual, but you feel speed increasing every second. Plus the ride has 4.5 positive gs and is quite forceful (not shocked, it's an Intamin). Anyways, Intamin, this reverse free-fall of yours is amazing. I love you guys Intamin:)

I have been waiting to go on this ride for 20 years. I was obsessed with rollercoaster documentaries / countdowns as a kid and this ride consistently showed up in the top 10 back then. Yes, the ride is over in the blink of an eye. The queue can be hot and smelly. But the rush you get on takeoff is so incredible! It has Cedar Point Top Thrill Dragster vibes - I wish that it went over the top and back down like TTD. I loved it! The backwards side was closed on my visit day but would love to give that a try.

Superman escape from Krypton is an amazing ride! It's the last Intamin shuttle launch ride in the world after the closure of its sister ride at the Warner Bros Park in Australia. Since bringing those parts over from Australia this ride is running better than ever it's actually launching up to the red zone once again. If you're in the area and you want to check out Superman while still running smoothly definitely trying to hit up Magic Mountain.

Easily one of the most fun rides in the park, along side twisted colossus. A must ride. Would wait up to an hour and a half for it.

5/5

This ride was a blast, and also the queue was made fun as well! Definitely recommend riding it if you're visiting the park!

This ride is SO much fun! I sat in the front and while the ride only lasts a few seconds... The rush is worth the wait. I would like to ride it backwards, though. A true thrill ride! You do get a feeling of weightlessness at the top. Hang on and enjoy the ride!!! 🦸

Short but absolute fun. It's a flash, high Speed shoot launch backwards straight, long distance and the goes up, freefall and full speed back. ride is just 20 sec, but feels like wink, awesome.
Mid week, almost empty park so just 5min waiting in queue, I did back to back to "realize" what happened at first time.

A thrilling experience. We rode it the first time at night, then the next day in the daytime. Both were exciting, but the daytime seemed a bit scarier as I could see how high up it goes. Great acceleration, fast speed and very fun. My children loved it too.

I thought I would be extremely scared on this ride but it was really fun. I would do this again

Very long line, but fun ride. We brought a card game to let time pass. When we were done with the game, it was our turn to ride. I recommend bringing a card game. The ride itself resembled to the speed of Superman. Defintely recommend riding this one! (Note: this ride was really short)

It's a quick ride! But one of the best at six flags!

Love this coaster - it's a thrill every time! 0-100 backwards Super fast, then it dangles you at the top before releasing you to head back down forward. It is a quick ride, but it's awesome!

this ride is going forward again like it did when it first opened and the experience in the forward side is much cooler because the wind gets in your face when it is accelerating. IMO, the backwards side is better

Of of my top two favorites at the park. If you like speed and free fall, this one is for you! The ONLY downside of this ride affects you outside of riding it - if you are walking on the walkway under it when it takes off, it is obnoxiously loud.

Awesome thrill! You need to wait for a long time, and you ride only few seconds... It's very fast unique, it's a must when you go to six flags.

Great ride. Rode it years ago when it ran forward, but I like it even better backward. Great way to be able to say you've been 100 mph.

This is rated as medium intensity? Wow. Either I am scared of everything or this is wrong. This thing sounds like a jet taking off. Dont be afraid of heights.
