Balanced Rock Cafe

We stopped at the Garden of the Gods on our way back from a trip to New Mexico. We stopped at the trading post and the delicious aroma drew us to the Balanced Rock Cafe. We had gourmet buffalo burgers and they were fantastic. The onion crisps on top were a treat. The buns were soft and tasty. The fries great. Everything was fresh and tasty. The cafe is worth a stop.

It's all good, but their cup of soup is no cup. It's no more than about 5 bites of soup. The soup was good, but they should let you know it's going to be a very small amount... Which the server actually did say to the next people who ordered soup after I asked, is that all you get in a cup of soup? 😆....You will still be hungry afterwards.
Had the Southwest chicken wrap the last time I was here. It was great! The chips are perfect well!!

Awesome place to eat

The service was really slow but the burgers were good. Food isn't cheap so it was good we had a coupon (BOGO 50% off.) Also, the AC unit was dripping all over the pickup counter which was a little off-putting as well. But, if you're hungry after a hike at GotG then this is a decent option. Just be ready to wait.

The quality of the food has deteriorated. I have gone here for 34 years, and today I was disappointed. Several months ago the house chips were included with some purchases. Today, I was informed that the house chips are now a separate purchase. For $2.79, I was given a tiny amount of nearly burned chips.
