Nice PO, and even better river access. It’s a good area to relax by the moving water. Spooked a flock of Mergansers on their cruise down the river one day, but I’ve spent countless hours along the banks unwinding.

We live in Mayfield Village. First of all, I love the drive through Gates Mills. This post office is the best in the country! Another reviewer wrote that I and I agree! I’ve lived in 4 states and in various cities and most post offices are mean and grumpy.

Have you ever asked to borrow a pen at another post office? They make it seem like you are asking them for world peace. The amazing staff at this post office not only will let you borrow a pen, but they will happily let you borrow it.

Silly scenario, but those little things add up. They have candy for the kids and treats for the pups! The two women that work the counter are so pleasant to me and my children. I just love them!

They call most of their customers by name and have an interest in asking them how everything is going in their lives!

The people make this office so incredible. Thank you for your kindness and professionalism, always.

Drove several miles to here. Cuz there is no more than 3 stars of usps in other locations, to check out this very outstanding rating place. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Whenever I have to do more than drop off letters, I drive 10 minutes out of my way to go to Gates Mills USPS!! The most I've ever waited in line was 6 minutes and that was 3 days before Christmas!!! I could walk to the idiots at the Landerbrook USPS, but I'm sick of wasting my time with slow, incompetent, jerks that do not know how to do their job correctly and have no trace of work ethic!! All USPS locations could learn a lot from Gates Mills!!

The GM Post Office staff are always friendly and helpful!! It’s also a fun place to bump into old friends!!

Normally I don't write reviews, but this really got to me. I just recently moved here to Ohio, but I've been to this post office a few times. Normally, the people around here are pleasant. But, today I came in and mind you, I'm the only customer in the building at the time, I come in to have some license plates mailed, and the older man behind the counter greats me with a grimace, not to mention, was rude to me when i asked how much the total was, then i had a problem with my card, and asked him to give me a minute to sort it out, he rolls his eyes and huffs at me and checks his watch, mind you I'm the only one in the post office...then he asks roughly "Don't you have a credit card or something you can pay with?" "I have another customer that is coming in" he says as a customer is walking in the door. I ask him if he can just put my package aside so he can help the next customer, he rolls his eyes at me and say "no, so hurry up"......I have worked in the customer service industry for FOUR years and i have never seen someone so rude. Unfortunately I didn't get his name, I was too infuriated with how he treated me I tried to leave as soon as I could.

I agree with Carl about the older gentleman. He actually used to be quite pleasant, but my last few interactions with him have been anything but. He is grumpy, he has an attitude, and he acts like he is doing me a huge favour by um, doing his job. And don't you even think of taking your phone out, I tried taking a photo of the tracking number on the package I was sending and got scolded like a child. Thankfully I'd already had my coffee, otherwise I might have started crying. Apparently you cannot take photos anymore in post offices (fine) but I certainly do not appreciate having the packaged snatched out of my hands and being told off. This still is the best post office in the area (just because the others are what hell must be like) and the woman and the young man that work there really are lovely, but the other guy needs to chillax.
