Dog Park

Nice place looks like could get a bit muddy after a rain. Hoses and water to clean up pupper after a fun time. Great place for the doggo's to make friends

We have been to many dog parks in our days and this one if one of the best! It’s set up well, maintained, and has a water fountain to keep the pups hydrated in this heat.

I can say all the reviews are accurate. While the park is small, it's clean and more than enough fun for our furry flashbang. The entrance gate can get a little muddy, but that is worse I can say. There's a hose at the gate which was convenient after his swim. The grounds seem well maintained.
He had an absolute blast in the water, which was fairly clean and debris free. There is a clear sign posted with warnings of gators and snakes. We saw something small swimming in place off by the far right fence that extends into the water, but it kept its distance.
The park has covered seating, water fountains for everyone and very secure fencing.
We will be back everytime!

Large fenced area for large and small days with lake access. My dog loves to cool off in Lake Shelby after chasing her ball.

Nice Dog Park on the water. There is a sign about alligators but one of the regulars said they haven't come up to his knowledge so it's rare especially this time of year. But be vigilant nonetheless. Nice covered seating area. My dog enjoyed all the smells and met a couple new friends.

Great dog park for our boy!! I love they have a water are for him to get wet in and cool off from the heat. Only downside was the fence wasn't long enough in the water.

Hands down the cleanest and nicest dog park I have been to anywhere. And I travel all across the country with Bowdie. He loved it. I loved it. It was fantastic!

Love this place. Has a large and small area, water, sand, trees. Also has a dog water fountain AND a gated area with a hose to clean off the dogs. Love it.

It’s clean, it’s fenced, it’s set up well - it a great spot for a little dog time!!!

This entire park is so nice! My pup really enjoyed it. She liked the water access and there was a lot to sniff, the favorite pastime of my old dog. Like everything else around, it isn't very crowded in February.

Gulf State Park dog park is a great place to stop off to let your pooch run around and do their business. We made a daily trip heee.

Visiting from Tennessee with 5 dogs. We loved it!
There are 2 sides with a nice fence in between that extended into the water. The water is dark and scary looking so we only let our dogs get in for a few minutes. There are signs warning about potential alligators.
After we finished playing, we were able to spray them off with the waterhose before we left so we didn't get as much sand in our car. One of the best dog parks we have ever been to.

Spacious and quiet. Having 2 separated areas and a hose is a huge bonus!

By far the coolest dogpark I've ever seen .Bear and G consider it home now.

This park is fabulous! Huge and grassy, some sand and of course the water. One of the best features, you can hose your dog off after if needed

Excellent area for your dog. Good sized shade, lots of seating, and good water fountains for the dogs. The kids play area is very close as well as restrooms.

Dog loved it, has water access so if they get to hot, they can cool off, but beware, APPARENTLY, there's alligators and water snakes around
