We stopped in randomly for lunch today and were super impressed! Vegetables were fresh and crisp and juicy and the steak chicken and shrimp were all phenomenal- large sized shrimp were very fresh and not rubbery, chicken was very flavorful and juicy, and the steak did not even require a knife. 5 stars it was delicious and we will be back! Note- I got the dinner size portion and was not upset at the price at all.... Well worth it!

This place is amazing!!! It’s clean, the service fantastic the food amazing!!! I’m upset with myself for not coming here sooner! The only downside is they don’t serve alcohol but if you let that get in the way you’re missing a treat just grab something before or after you leave this fabulous place don’t let it pass you by ,you won’t regret it

You can really tell that they take pride in their restaurant! It is very clean and had been modernized. The gentleman that greeted us and took our our order had a beautiful smile and took our order quickly and efficiently.. We didn't wait long before he brought our food out to us and made sure everything was to our liking. What a wonderful experience!

My first time to this place and i was super impressed with how much food you get with the meal with the cost. The service was great too. He was polite and listened to my picky eater requests. It’s a quiet little place to sit and eat with cute decor. I love they had ramune to enjoy with my meal. My chicken teriyaki was flavorful and the rice was cooked perfectly. Ginger dressing on the salad was good too. An all around great place to grab a bite to eat at a good price 💕

We love this place! The best customer service and great food. We probably go at least once a month and they are consistently so friendly and the food is always excellent with huge portions.

One of the best places in Roanoke. Absolutely underrated! Salmon and shrimps are juicy and fresh. Even Ichyban doesn't make them so fresh. Food is amazing! And prices - omg, i feel like i robbed them 😂

Great tasting menu items. The chicken and shrimp was great. The sauces added to the dish especially the spicy Sriracha and yumyum sauces.

This place is fantastic. The food is delicious, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the layout of their restaurant is pleasant.

The food was great while also having a calming atmosphere for me and my friends. Definitely worth it for the cheap and reasonable price.

Great experience! Restaurant was very clean. You pick your meat or meat combo and it comes with rice veggies, 2 sauces and a side salad. Food was fresh, flavorful and quick. As a side note,you can ask for food to be cooked with oil instead of butter if lactose is a concern, but there would be cross contamination.

We love Sakura! The flavors are on par with fancy Japanese restaurants but with a much more reasonable price. The portions of food are very generous. We often get two meals to go; it's enough to feed our family of two adults and two small kids and still have some leftovers. I took a picture of all of the food that come with ONE entree (soup, salad, rice, veggies, and meat). The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Yesterday, without prompting, they brought our to-go food out to the car so that we didn't have to get the kids out of the vehicle! The small, intimate atmosphere also makes it a date-night favorite!

Loved the food here, heard great things and Sakura did not disappoint! Will be coming back!!
