The best Menudo I have had hands down. It was tough to have a conversation as I don't speak Spanish. I was lucky and a gentleman who spoke both Spanish/English was there to eat too and he helped me out.

The little restaurant in the back is amazing! Definitely a hole in the wall but the food was awesome. The quesobirria (sp) is the best. We had that plus tacos and burritos with carne asada and pastor and the bean burrito. It all tasted great and we left stuffed and with food to spare.

If you’re in the mood for some delicious authentic Mexican food then this is the place to eat in Merced. They actually serve tacos made with homemade corn tortillas! Huge portions so bring your appetite, and great customer service. I’m going to try the Birria de Chivo next time I’m there.
