Food 4 Less

My kids and I used the bathroom and its clean and stocked but dated..paint is chipping and one of the restrooms does not have a lock. I was not greeted by not 1 employee and there were lots there. I was wearing a Christmas Elf T-shirt bright red that said Cotton- headed ninny muggins😂 and flashing Christmas lights earrings..so i wasn't hard to miss and 2 kids with me. The employees were smiling and happy though with each other..so the work environment must be awesome☺. All the aisles were so clean! Oh my goodness! I loved it! I can maneuver and others can maneuver without being in each other's way!🙌all the Food was faced foward and stocked..including the meat, produce, water, beer..etc. They have Piñatas and specialty asian and Latino food. The cashier was a bilingual woman named Olivia and she was super friendly and patient considering I had over $300 worth of groceries. Incase you've never shopped here you need to bag the groceries by yourself..paper bags or big plastic..both you have to pay for unless you have EBT you get free paper bags. Oh oh oh! They had some amaxing temporary deals as well as everyday low prices!! I'll be coming back for sure!❤ Great experience!

Came here for a delivery. Overnight truck parking at the rear of the store. Check in with the receiver in the morning. Quick unloading. Restrooms located inside the store.

I love Food for less. It's close to home and I know where everything is plus they have some awesome people working there. The only thing I can think of that would make it better is if there was self checkout. Other than that I can't think of anything I don't like

With inflation and rising costs, this is a good store to go to. It has low prices, especially fruit and vegetables and it's fresh. The store is always clean and the employees are great professional.

Love this store. Clean, easy to get around. And prices are comparable to other stores. Cheaper a lot of times!!

Pretty damn good prices. Most the employees have great customer service skills but everyone has bad days. Personally I love how Food 4 Less is set up inside.

Update: The store is even better than when I last reviewed. They've changed out their opened, floor freezers for new, tall standing ones, with better visibility of food and more space.

Love this store. Fresh food in stock at good prices, excellent lighting, professional minded - and available cashiers. Store is clean, and tidy with spacious isles. Nothing negative to say, Great job Merced FFL.

I go on a Thursday mid afternoon if I'm looking for a meat package deal. I wonder though, do they cut it up themselves, because I ended up with this weird cut of chicken. So yeah the best time to go is Thursdays the store is empty .

Food for Less has been so much cleaner than it was a year ago. They always have more than one check stand open, which is nice. All the people working here at Merced location are really nice and helpful.

Food 4 Less is one of the largest grocery stores that really does have cheaper food. Not everything is cheaper though like non-food items are actually a little higher then some other places like Walmart and that is probably how they make up the difference for selling Foods slightly cheaper. but that's fine I only buy food there and I like it. I know some people that refuse to shop there because they act too good for it and would rather go to Save Mart or Raley's well I don't really see them as intelligent people. They are not worried about the money they just want to go into a cleaner place. Okay so Food For Less is like a warehouse but so is Costco and rich people have no problem going there to save money. Even if I was rich I would probably go to Food for Less just for the principle of saving money. And the meat have improved tremendously....,

Great set up for a grocery store. Very wide variety of food options. Prices are average for today's economy.

This grocery store has great prices. There choices of fruits, vegetables and meats are super good. Everything looks fresh. I don't go often because of their location. I stay in my area to shop.

Store is always clean and the people who works in there are friendly and always willing to help instead of hiding or shying away from customers. The store is always in stock, never run out of anything I've needed. Been going here for more than 10 years. Great family store.

Very good place for cream filled donut

Great selection at amazing prices. Don't let the face of the store or name make you think they skip on quality - The produce is extremely good every time I've went and the selection of foods do include known brands as well as lower price alternatives. The employees are also extremely helpful if you can't find exactly what you need.

Good produce and fair prices. Great wine prices, limited selection. Clean and friendly. Lots of spanish specialties, but its really fun checking out all the great variety of food there. My favourite grocery.

I bought everything except for 2 items on my shopping list here. The staff were very helpful as well. Also, the prices were very low. I will be going here again when I am in the area.
