V's restaurant + bar

My partner and I stopped here at the end of our spontaneous Malibu getaway. They opened right when we were leaving our Airbnb, so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was so relaxing and ambient, and I loved all the little plants everywhere. The decor is fancy and it’s a very spacious lovely place, with a playlist that one actually enjoys.
Our server Gustavo was fantastic and happy to provide absolutely wonderful service, humor, and well deserved pride in his work. They went the extra mile to prepare me my dish exactly to my taste. You can tell a lot of love, thought, and tears were put into creating this fantastic little world of food. 10/10 would come back.

V's restaurant in Malibu is a hidden gem boasting a vibrant ambiance. Went here for lunch. Had the calamari, crab cake, & the arugula salad as appetizers. All 3 were excellent, our favorite was the calamari. The crab cake was a close 2nd. For entrees, we had the special mahi-mahi with risotto, salmon with couscous, & seafood linguine. Both fishes were fresh & cooked perfectly. The star was the seafood pasta - sauce was award winning. Our waiter told us what went into making that dish. The risottos was cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable. Our host was very friendly & courteous. He told us how to get to the Malibu Beach pier (2 traffic lights) & allowed us to park our car at the restaurant. We walked to the end of the pier, they had couple restaurants 1 at the front. We checked their menus, their prices were the same or higher than V’s. I doubt their preparation would equal V’s. Lastly, you can see our lunch portions were more than adequate. I would say equivalent to diner portions at most high quality restaurants. 2 thumbs up for V’s.

Great place to have a lovely lunch in Malibu. I highly recommend as a starter to try the Burrata with fresh tomatoes and basil, followed by a nice portion of mushroom pasta as a main course. They are so delicious.
Also the place is nice and the staff is friendly.

The crab meat in the crab cake is jumbo.

Delicious food ! We came in just for some light appetizers and left satisfied with everything we ordered. I absolutely loved the chocolate mouse cake I ordered for dessert.

Great outdoor atmosphere and accommodating staff! We had a delicious meal at this perfect spot on a busy day in Malibu. We ordered a flat bread and the fish special. Both plates were delicious and they were able to accommodate our dietary preferences.

Food was delicious and cocktails were pretty good. Jim went above and beyond to cater to a rather obnoxious group I was a part of. Cozy little spot for a date night. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent food! Service was outstanding, Gustavo was out waiter, he and the busboy did an excellent job.

I was here when they first opened. Did not have a good experience but today, everything was really good. Mushroom fries and regular fries were amazing. Crab cake really good and so the scallops. Absolutely great food

Went here on a date, great atmosphere. I'm vegan, and they were able to accommodate me with an awesome pasta and veggie dish that was so delicious. Our server was attentive and extremely friendly, in my opinion. Great drinks and even better service!

AMAZING!!! This is one of the BEST restaurants we have ever visited. We went for lunch with my family and the service was above and beyond our expectations!!! The food was absolutely TOP of the TOP. We ordered the Portobello Fries (OMG- must try!!!), the Mac n Cheese, Wild Arugula Salad, Seafood Linguine, Pan Seared Salmon and Grilled Chicken with fries and spaghetti from the Kids Menu. I have no words to describe how delicious everything was and for a very first time my children finished their whole meal and asked for more. The owner and the servers were so kind, polite, very friendly and respectful and took a great care of us!

I was surprised how good this place was. The macaroni and cheese was amazing, the chicken sandwich was delicious. Perfectly crisp chicken between soft bread and sweet sauce. The salads were tasty. Will come back.

A really handsomely designed place. Be sure to sit by the window and enjoy the sunshine ☀ Foodwise I was not a big fan of the flatbread, but the burger was unexpectedly superb. The salad was nice as well.

Fabulous food and atmosphere. I am from New Orleans where the food is outstanding. This place was one of the best places we ate in Malibu and Los Angeles. We went to Craig's, Sur, The Ivy, Nobu, Geoffrey's and other places while visiting. This one is a gem. You must go here if your visiting. It was so nice and quiet compared to ALL the other places and the staff were lovely. The $8 glass of wine I had was exceptional also. Please don't pass this place up. We were very impressed and also in extremely casual clothes. It has parking too which was nice. Love, love, love!!!!💕💕

The truffle mac n cheese is amazing. Great drinks and entrees.
