Windwood Equestrian

Windwood Equestrian hosted our wedding ceremony and reception. They were amazingly helpful and have a stunning property. They have multiple ceremony spaces that allow you to customize it how you want. The florals were in bloom which made my pictures stunning. My wedding went so smoothly due to Lyndsey and the entire staff. They lit the fire when the sun went down to keep everyone warm. They go above and beyond and you should check this out for a possible wedding venue.

Christian and I got married at Windwood in March of this year and it was absolutely beautiful! I always wanted an outdoor ceremony, and Windwood had so many options, and even the backup plan was perfect. With an air bnb on site, this venue had absolutely everything you could need to make your day perfect. Arden photographed the day so perfectly! It was everything we dreamed it would be!

If you're looking for a venue that has the "rustic/barnlike" feel but desire something a little different than popular barn wedding vibes, Windwood is the perfect place. We settled on this venue because the site offers a wide array of options regarding ceremony site. The reception area is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The stables are immaculate and having the horses there made it extra special for me. The greenery in the summer is gorgeous, and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and like family. Our wedding coordinator there met with us prior to the wedding to ensure that our dream day could become a reality. Our daughters wedding at Windwood Equestrian exceeded every expectation we could have imagined and more. Our guests were in awe of the reception in the courtyard area and it truly was a dream come true for our daughter. The staff was amazing and their event coordinator, Lyndsey, did an outstanding job. Everything was organized to perfection and we can’t wait to see the moments that Arden captured as she is most meticulous and our camera shy daughter loved working with her! I would not have changed a single thing and if I had another daughter would not even consider another venue! Lovely and elegant beyond words! Thank you SO much!!!!

I can't have imagine a more fairy tale experience than we had with Windwood for my daughter's wedding. The venue is breathtaking and the team is amazing! They were very accommodating and helpful with anything we needed for the day. I would definitely suggest booking with Windwood for any special even you have coming up.

Our wedding day was perfect at Windwood. We rented their new cottage house to get ready in which was wonderful and used Lyndsey for all the coordination and could not have been more pleased. Everything ran ridiculously smoothly. We had a bit of rain during the reception, but coordinating the tent and alternative options for a rain day plan was easy. Absolutely beautiful venue and flawless coordination. Would recommend to anyone.

Windwood is the most beautiful place in Alabama! We instantly fell in love with the venue and it has so much to offer! Lyndsey and her staff made our day so smooth and fabulous! They truly care for you and want to make your day special and did everything in their power to!

I knew the first time we looked at Windwood that it was special. It was only the second venue we viewed but I didn’t need to look any further. All my equestrian dreams as a little girl came to life. Covid completely threw all of our wedding plans off to the point where I didn’t even want to have a reception. Windwood worked with us to make sure our dreams had a chance to come true. Not only is this venue enchanting but William, Arden, and Lynsey make you feel at home and make the process as easy as possible! You won’t be disappointed in this venue

Beautiful horse barn stable venue for weddings and special events. Lots of options for the wedding ceremony and a great patio with stage, fireplace and string lights for a reception. Lots of photo opportunities! The owner was very friendly and gave us an informative tour.

We had the most memorable night! We are so glad we chose Windwood for our wedding venue!
