We walked over to check this place out and we were not disappointed! Really delicious bagels, even my husband who grew up in NY agreed. We had bagels and cream cheese on our first visit and literally went back the next day and got bagel sandwiches, everything was delicious. Lexi is amazing as the cashier AND barista, and so sweet. On a nice day you can cross the road and eat by the river. Definitely recommend this place!

Incredible bagel spot, so very thankful Open Sesame exists— their The Bun (does not rise in the Yeast) is absolute fire. Sausage, scrambled egg and cheddar cheese on a rosemary sea salt bun..and the oven roasted tomato it comes with, trust me on this :) but also can’t wait to come back and try everything else.

Hands down the best breakfast bagel sandwich I have ever had. Crispy not-to-thick perfect bagel, egg and bacon was fresh and high quality, and a delicious subtle tomato (sun dried I think). New spot in town for good. Keep these guys in business people!

Best bagel we’ve had in CO!!! Better than anything found in Denver. Unique flavors and delicious breakfast sandwiches. The cookies are also amazing, and the staff is so friendly. A must-stop in Basalt.

These bagels are sooo yummy I dream about them. Their salmon cream cheese is to die for. Come here for breakfast or lunch, and a yummy cookie or coffee. You can tell everything is made there by the quality. Glad to have you around!

The cutest lil shop with the kindest staff and GOOD bagels !!! My friends and I came here after camping and we all got The Bun (Does Not) Rise In The Yeast and y’all….it was chef’s kiss 🤌 I got mine with bacon and added jalapeno cream cheese which was bomb. The roasted tomato was a unique and yummmmy add. We also all raved about how sweet the staff was. Highly recommend if you’re in town!

My fiancé is not the biggest fan of asiago bagels. But, I wanted to split a couple items so we could try things out! We opted for the jalapeño asiago bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. And then the cinnamon raisin with regular cream cheese (they have tons of options).. Both of these bagels were the best bagels WE BOTH have ever had. The bagels were the most flavorful, high quality I’ve ever had. So damn good!

Very good bagels, tons of options to choose from. Personally I love their bacon egg and cream cheese on a sesame or their daily specials, doesn’t get better than this in the valley. Jack and Lexi are great. I’m here every day off I have for a 10/10 breakfast. Oh, did I tell you they have amazing coffee as well? Get an iced oatmilk latte and thank me later haha

Really delicious bagel and appreciated all the creative options for bagels and spreads. Closest to a jersey bagel we’ve found in the valley.

Hands down, the BEST bagel sandwich I have ever feasted upon. Crispy everything bagel with Haas avocados, egg, radishes and roasted tomatoes! Divine! Definitely splurge and get the sea salt chocolate chip cookie.

WOW. Thank goodness for OPEN SESAME!! We’ve been dying to find a solid bagel joint and this is the real deal. The Turkey with roasted pear, arugula, and honey mustard was fantastic. Everything is made with love and isn’t pre-packaged. With nearly a dozen bagel and smear choices, there is something to satisfy your sweet or savory cravings. What’s sweeter? The best cookie I’ve ever has. Not kidding. If they are ever sold out, I may cry. Think crunchy crust with a fresh baked cookie inside and a touch of salt and crunchy sugar. We also indulged in the brownie after having a sample. Runnnnn and check this place out.

Finally found a great bagel shop. Open Sesame has delicious, organic food served in a clean environment by a friendly staff. Highly recommend.

I love Open Sesame. Extremely high quality bagels, spreads, sandwhich toppings, and baked goods. I love that they source their meat locally, and I love that they use organic ingredients! Prices are extremely fair. This is my absolute favorite spot in Basalt and possibly my favorite spot in the whole Valley! I stop by almost daily. The staff is also awesome - super friendly and professional. If I didn't have an ancient phone, I'd post a picture, but trust me these are some great looking bagels, bagel sandwhiches, and treats! I LOVE the susage egg and cheese, the porchetta sandwhich, the avo toast, and the BLT, but you really can't go wrong.

I recently ordered a “thank you” breakfast for an organization in the area and Open Sesame Bagel Shop was so accommodating and even went the extra mile to call me and confirm the details and even added a small handwritten thank you note to the order! Very sweet and accommodating employees, Thank you so much!!
