Pleasant low key vibe. Excellent service both friendly and professional. I had the Monte Cristo which was excellent but could have been hotter. I enjoyed the Smashed Potatoes. Wife had the Chicken Schnitzel sandwich which was huge. She enjoyed a quarter of it and took three quarters home for the next three lunches. Field Greens side was also good. Would definitely return.

All I can say is WOW! The staff and authentic feel were absolutely amazing! It was a phenomenal experience. The authentic German beer, potato soup, schnitzel and the apple strudel were delicious. A must visit if you visit Basalt! Definitely coming back!

From the time we walked in to the time we left, we were well taken care of.

Food suggestions from our Server were nice. They accommodated our requests when we asked for something just a little different than what was offered on the menu.

Everything we ordered was prepared nicely, and tasted wonderful. The timing by the server to replenish drinks and inquire about food was excellent.

The four of us had a really nice overall experience!! Well done Wienerstube!

Thank you..

Excellent food. We arrived for the last part of happy hour and had the pate platter which was great. Then we had dinner of Jaeger Schnitzel and Goulash. Would recommend both. Jay, our server, took very good care of us and made great recommendations on our food and wine choices. Potions were generous and we took left overs back to our room at the Element hotel where we luckily have a refrigerator.

*Honest Review *
I have high standards when it comes to European restaurants. This is not only an amazing restaurant but one of the the best in Basalt, not only does it have a warm atmosphere but the service is top teir . You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and the beer/wine list has some amazing selections. It may seem expensive, but you get large portions ,the food is made fresh to order , and is also very filling. This is one of my favorites, you can't go wrong .

After a scorching day of golf, we opted for brunch at this spot. The cold beer hit the spot, and the meal was truly outstanding, making the experience even more enjoyable.

It's probably the best restaurant in Basalt, CO. The first time I was here, we were treated like kings. They have many beers on tap, and they are not shy about offering you tastings to ensure you pick one you like.
The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is outstanding. Dark wood handcrafted custom bar, handmade hardwood tables, inset lighting, and great music loud enough to enjoy, but quiet enough to have a conversation. Has that perfect balance of romantic lighting and "bright enough to read the menu without using your cell phone".
The Salmon Tartare is spectacular, be sure to try it! The chicken schnitzel is thin, well-seasoned, and tender. The carmelization of the onions on the beef sliders (with a hint of Blue Cheese in the meat?) is very nice.

Absolutely fantastic, this place has the best German food on the Western Slope. The vibe, the food, and the service here are really great. There is plenty of seating at both tables and in the bar area, and the decor is on point.

The food here is delicious, and the portion sizes just right. Amazing brats and side dishes. Their selection of beers is impressive, and came out of the tap tasting perfect! I didn't have a cocktail, but thought about it for a minute after seeing them.

The service is excellent as well, they do a great job making sure that you are satisfied. Overall, this is a great little addition to the restaurant scene in the area.

We first walked in a the decor and furniture was perfect. The atmosphere was cultured and felt synonymous with the food. They were understaffed, but our waitress did an amazing job of tending to the entire dining floor. She was friendly and the service was relatively quick.

I shared the burrata salad and it was amazing. The burrata was delicious and was complimented very well by the vegetables. I particularly liked the almonds and the roasted artichoke. I then enjoyed the burger. It was very tasty and cooked to medium rare perfection. The onions provided a great crunch to aid the tender taste of the sausage and angus patty. My dad enjoyed his sausages and sauerkraut was the best I have tried.

Overall, it was a great improv decision. The food was top tier, atmosphere was great, and the service was good even with them being short staffed.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. My girlfriend and I always sit at the bar with Jay, Chad, or Erica. Not only do they have some of the friendliest bartenders in the valley but the food and beer is top notch as well. Breakfast lunch or dinner, we have never had a plate we didn't like. Huge portions and fair prices. We never go wrong at the Weinerstube.

So I made the one mistake of ordering food TOGO and having to enjoy it at home. Ho-ly Cow. This meal was delicious. And the tasty beers on tap they had for me while I'm waitin'? Yum-diddly-umptious. You're missin' out if you haven't been yet. Pröst

Stopped by for a quick lunch and wasn't disappointed. I had the jager schnitzel which was phenomal with the spatzle. The spatzle was amazing would recommend getting that as a side. It has ample dog friendly sitting outside. Next time I'm in Basalt I'll stop by.

By FAR the BEST restaurant in Basalt/Willits. The food is excellent, my favorite being the salmon tartar. 5 starts all the way!

This is our second time into this restaurant and I have to say, it is truly a great restaurant. We started off with the sampler of sausages, which was interestingly fantastic. I had the branzino for the main course, which was amazing. My wife had the schnitzel, and honestly, it was better than the schnitzel we had in Germany. This restaurant deserves the 5 Stars!

Incredible German food. We tried 4 appetizers ( even the fresh baked pretzels were HUGE and delicious. ) All 4 of us raved about the food. Yes, pricey- but it’s a vacation town. Service was also great.
