SEPHORA at Kohl's

I may only give reviews about twice a year, whether good or bad. It has to be either REALLY good or REALLY bad for me to take the time to do this. The exceptional personable customer service received from Sage at Sephora in Kohls Matthews NC location was incredible. I don't wear makeup, but had a work event that required me to have a bit of polish. Also, FYI, I'm a female who hates shopping. Yes, I said it. Anyway, Sage was incredible and in addition to helping me find what I needed that day, she also renewed my faith that there are still bright and wonderful people that offer so much more than just selling products. Her service to me that day was way above and beyond and I can't thank her enough. Also, my husband of 34 years loved the look as well!!

Thank you Sage and thank you Sephora...make sure to keep her...she's a wonderful asset to your company!

I’ve been to this Sephora plenty of times but I had the best visit today because of Danie! She helped me find my perfect shade match with my darker skin (which is hard to do) and assisted with anything I needed with patience and a smile! She made me feel extremely comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone.

I visited this location in search of a new winter perfume. I purchased a scent, but once I got home and tried it on my skin it gave me an instant headache. I was able to return it without any issues. The sales rep even showed me similar scents that weren't so overpowering. He was polite knowledgeable and
appreciated his assistance. I did inquire about makeup application and was told they hope to launch that service in the near future. I'll definitely be visiting this location regularly.

Got my girl a nice perfume and they gave me a 20% off, really nice ppl, my girl loved it

I was helped by jade and she was very helpful and sweet with answering a ton of my makeup questions as I am new to all the makeup stuff, lol. Will be back!

I always come to this location and every visit is always wonderful. Tonight Jade helped me with my foundation and concealer, she was great!!

hate shopping here but come because it’s the closest one near me. stock isn’t the best and only some of the employees are kind. most are very pushy and always assume that you are stealing. i was checking out the outer display of the stores and one of the employees came up to me telling me i need to check out at front first. i was so confused as i was still shopping so all i said was i know. you tell them you don’t need any help and they keep asking and keep asking. heard them complaining about customers as well.

If it's a Sephora store why can't we make returns from other Sephora store here? Because its inside Kohls? Makes zero sense

So disappointed. I use to love shopping here until this evening when the associate was super rude and disrespected me and my cousins who were shopping. They had JUST made the announcement about the store closing soon so I started approaching the checkout counter and took a last glance at the minis stand they have in front. Didn’t even take one minute before the associate reminded me that they were closing in 15 min. I said “okay”, got my cousin’s attention so we could check out and the lady goes “are you done?!”. I obviously didn’t really have a choice so we go to the counter and she very rudely told us to “put everything on the counter”. We do so, and she crossed her arms and said “EVERYTHING”. I was genuinely confused and the only thing I could think of was to put my wallet and keys on the counter since it’s the only other things I had in my hands LMAOOO. It was just so disrespectful and humiliating to assume that we were stealing and honestly I had absolutely no reason to put my personal belongings on the counter but it just happened so fast and I was genuinely confused in the moment. I honestly didn’t even want to purchase my product anymore but she was already ringing it up. My cousin didn’t end up purchasing her stuff either due to how rude we were treated. Very unfortunate that a place I loved shopping at now has these rude/disrespectful employees. And honestly, very bold of her to assume that we were trying to steal when she clearly stole a Cinnabon and stuck it on the back of her slick head. Anyways, I guess I’ll find a new makeup store to shop at and y’all should too if you don’t want to be disrespected and humiliated:) wish I would’ve got her name but she was an older light skin lady.

This is not Sephora’s fault, but I drove an hour to the Matthews location (this was the closest location to me) got there at 9:08, google said they were open until 10:00…..and they were closed. I “suggested new hours” so I hope that helps someone else

No one helped me at all when I asked with help with finding my foundation shade in fenty. Smh need more of my people in there because it was none
