It is a pawn shop people. Reed the owner is an honest person who does his best working with difficult people sometimes. I've seen him extend people's pawn time just to be nice. I've seen him help people out with no expectations. He is running a business to make money. That is how the world works.

I love Provo Pawn. Reed is the most loyal and genuine person I know. I've seen him interact with customers, many people who think poorly of him treat him poorly or try to get an end sale price from him. I suppose they may not see that he needs to make a profit to provide for his family.

Provo Pawn will let you test and inspect items before you purchase them. This seems fair because they do have a no returns or refund policy.

The owner is definitely rough around the edges. But he's running a pawn shop, not a Tiffany & Co. I always get the service and help that I need.

Went here to get an impact wrench and sockets. The guy talked us through all the options, even tried to sell us the cheapest one because he knew that's all we needed. The compressor didn't have the right fitting, so he went back and stole one off of another compressor and put it on for us. Very accommodating, friendly (but not insincere), and all the stuff worked great.

Reed (owner) has been nothing but courteous and professional in the many times I have purchased items from his store. I have never pawned anything personally but people clearly do not have an understanding of how a business of this nature is ran when they think he’s “low-balling” someone on price or making “400% markup” because the item is priced higher than what he paid you for it. Of course you are not going to make the same amount of money selling it to Provo pawn as you would selling it on Facebook marketplace or KSL, but you have to put the time, energy and all the texts of people negotiating with you in to play and the upside of Provo Pawn is that you get money right then and there, without the hassle and time that it takes going another way and then Provo Pawn turns around and marks it up...hate to be the bearer of bad news, that’s how retail/business works. He has rent, pays employees, pays himself, as great of a guy that Reed is I’ve never had the disillusion that he is selling me this item for the exact price that he bought it for or that he’s in business to not make money. NO, he, just like any person in this world, is there to provide a retail experience where you can buy/pawn items and a discounted rate and is there to make $$. If this is a shock to you, then this world is going to be a tough place for you! Thanks to Reed and Provo Pawn for always being fair, professional and just a very pleasant shopping experience! Best pawn shop in the county...by far!

Hands down, best pawn shop available to Utahns. Reed is a fair, honest, and very understanding business owner, I have pawned many times with him and have always been more than satisfied with deals made. Ignore any less than repupatable reviews because the people writing them are just arrogant and ignorant enough to think they know better about after-retail trade than an after-retail merchant.

I really recommend this pawn shop! I told the owner that I was looking for a MacBook but he didn’t have any at the time. The next week he called me and told me he had a new MacBook Air with a really fair offer.

He called me as soon as he got what I was looking for. He really helped me out because I almost bought a really expensive MacBook from some college kid in the area.

This guy is really helpful and fair.

They pointed me in the direction of what i was looking for and gave me sound advice on my purchases. Very pleased with this shop and will for sure be a repeat customer!!

Recently bought an old school Colt 3x20 carry handle scope from Reed. I'm from Pennsylvania, Reed answered all my questions, gave me a fair price and shipped it out very quickly. Very happy with the item and the service.

It always a pleasure to do business here. The owner is always polite and fun to talk to. I always feel I am getting a fair deal. It's always my first choice when I need to pawn something.

I'd give em 6 if it allowed honest shop fair no hassle prices. I recommend stopping by they have a little of everything, everything's in food shape! Doesn't look like they take in people's junk.

I got a better offer on some tools I was looking to sell from the pawn shop down the street, but I would still choose to do business with Provo Pawn. In my experience, the owner is friendly and treats people with respect.

One of my 2 favorite shops in the state for finding good deals. If you pay cash the owner always cuts you great deals when i'm looking for gifts for birthdays, and holidays.

Reed is the man! I bought a Rolex from him, great watch, great deal and great service. Love the store, bought serveral things over the years and always get the same reliable service.
