Today I applied for a passport for my two children. And I want to say that for 6 years of living in the USA, I haven’t not met such a nice USPS employee as Mark. My wife and I are very very very grateful to him. Mark is a very kind, polite, respectful and patient. He politely answered to all our questions and constantly offered his help. We wholeheartedly wish Mark health and success. May God bless him and his family. Thank you very much, Mark

The US passport office in this location is performing amazingly. It’s a hassle free and fast service. Noli helped us and he expressed his professionalism at its greatest level. This location’s policies are different and human. Thank you guys for your great service.

So quick, easy, and pain free unlike Oxnard location. We went early and we were done before our original appointment time! They are very efficient.

This location is a bit off the beaten path but this is a super plus because there is hardly ever a line. Everybody is always very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. They also have many other services here. This is off the 126 on top of a mountain all by itself. Pretty cool.

With every review, you should take it with a grain of salt -- and experience the place -- whether it's a restaurant or services for yourself. Reviews are a great base, but I don't think we should judge the place before experiencing it first-hand.

Went here 09/25/21 because my local USPS branches closes early on Saturdays. I had important errands that I needed to fulfill during those hours and while the Castaic branch was almost an hour drive away (one-way), it was well worth the trip. It's located in the newer parts of town, with commercial buildings and the USPS is located on a hill.

I read previous reviews saying that for fingerprinting, you had to check-in at the passport services, so I did. However, I was redirected to the main service desk and was helped by a really kind dude (don't remember his name, but he is the supervisor). He helped me with the fingerprinting, even giving me wipes and a fingerprinting gel to kickstart the process. Afterwards, I paid for the service, and he told me to wait a few seconds so that he could send the info right away and confirm submission, which was reassuring and great!

After I was finished, I headed for other errands only to realize that my work at the Castaic branch USPS was not done! I forgot to send some packages, so I drove back. I was then helped by this lady (she has dark black and silver-ish hair) and she was both kind and knowledgeable, so I was able to send my packages as well.

All-in-all, I've had a really great experience here. I needed to get things done, and this place not only had longer hours (on a Saturday no less), but it also allowed me to cross off my errands list. I'm not even a local, but I felt the kindness here. It was pretty busy and there were a lot of customers, especially in the passport section, but for other services at the main desk (e.g., fingerprinting, sending packages, purchasing stamps, etc.), I did not experience the negative/low star-review type of experiences here that day. Additionally, the pace was similar to those back at my local branch.

I felt like this place deserved to get a second chance for those who've had bad experiences and also for those who have yet to try this branch out, and hope that you'll receive the same excellent experience that I had.

I was so incredibly pleased with our service today I HAD to write a review! Mike helped us process a passport for our 5 month old and he had the absolute best customer service. He was also the only one working while we were there ( I think the other guy was at lunch) and he helped everyone in an orderly fashion, had a wonderful attitude, didn't get overwhelmed, and still managed the phone and the check in seamlessly and had people in and out very quickly. For a process that is usually upsetting and frustrating, he made it wonderful. Thanks Mike!

Amazing! I am so impressed! I went here to get my passport renewed! They seemed kind and pleasant with everyone there this afternoon/evening! They made it so easy to send my documents in to get my passport renewed!! I am really thankful they were so nice and helpful.

Went on December 26 to renew my passport. And the clerk was very friendly. Asked for my paper work. The gentleman was very kind. And explained the process. They take cash, check, debit, or money order. They also take your passport pictures there for $15.00.

Went to renew my passport. I was clueless but Miriam was amazing. She talked me through it all with a smile on her face. She's amazing.

The staff here are AMAZING. A few times that I arrived late to ship my orders out their staff that are suppose to be designated for passport assistance only made it a priority to help me out regardless thus ensuring my packages were shipped out on time to my customers! Now erThat's going above and beyond !!!

This location is the regional USPS distribution center for the Santa Clarita Valley and for the San Fernando Valley. Haven’t had a problem with them.

Employees were very helpful with answering questions regarding passport processing. Don't want this office to be known as an easy and fast way to get your passports, but it is!
