I love this shop!! I can’t believe it took me so long to find this place! I live in NYC but my parents live in Culpeper. I popped into this shop before Christmas and was overwhelmed (in a good way) with the various selections of stickers, pins, bags etc. I wanted to buy one of everything. They carry a lot of brands I already love, with such a wide selection available. The staff was super friendly and I’m hoping they ship!

Walked in randomly one day when visiting Culpeper, wasn't sure what this shop was. I was greeted by the owner, a very nice woman, who allowed me to browse. Her shop has a good vibe and she carries many items from souvenirs, food, clothes, etc, etc, and books. Nice layout, great unique selection of items including custom made goods, and ultimately, a refreshing experience overall to meet another great example of a local kind business owner who has a really cool and groovy shop.

Bought this gem after seeing it in their store window on two previous visits to Culpeper. It’s my new climbing hat, btw.
But I digress. Le Monkey House is a unique and offbeat shop with a great variety of products. Kind of Commander Salamander, CLPPR.

There are several great shops in Culpeper but this one is, hands down, the best. Really unique assortment of shirts, stickers, banners, candles, books, and more. Found stuff for myself and a few gifts for others. Will definitely visit this store again. Employees were really nice too and helped me find what I was looking for.

I went in to shop for my friend's birthday after feeling kind of down, myself, and left with a smile on my face. The fun products and the overall vibe of the store completely cheered me up! I'm so glad I visited and will definitely be going back for gifts in the future.

This shop! Stop what you’re doing and go there or go online if you can’t go! Every time I stop in the shop there is something else I discover and HAVE to have. If I don’t buy something for myself I’m buying a gift for someone else from this shop. Everything makes me laugh, smile, chuckle, and want to tap someone on the shoulder and say, “Oh my goodness, look at this!” Speaking of smiling, the owner is amazing! She helps pick out gifts, has great ideas, and if there’s something you can’t quite find, she’s got an idea of what or how to create it for you. Go there, you will definitely find something you have to have and it will certainly brighten your day.

This is a fantastic shop! Whether it be a print of song lyrics for a traditional uncle, a retro flannel for an avant garde cousin or some candy for your favorite little person. It is a one stop shop to purchase gifts for your family, your friends and even yourself. The owner and operator, and the brains and the beauty behind the one of a kind creations is a dream. She is fresh and fun and always up for witty banter.

This is the coolest shop. I love going here for gifts but also for myself. I’ve gotten some great quality shirts with hilarious quotes. When we had family come up from Florida they were raving about Le Monkey House.
