Good food great service.... food was fresh chicken was on point. From the time we stepped into the door and we walked out very friendly and understanding.. Didn't have the sauce I wanted to try.. The gentleman recommended another sauce, and was kind enough to let me try it first... it was very tasty and good...Chicken was made to order made just right, and still good the following evening. Cabbage was good, mac and cheese was just right, and fries were seasoned well..

Me and my wife tried this spot for the first time and we ordered two wing dinners, one with Mac and cheese with fries and the other with cabbage and Mac and cheese. I will say the food was great, everything was fresh, seasoned and tasted amazing. We tried the location on Vine Street and I will say you have to try the food yourself so you can have your own opinion. I have had many restaurants and wings all over the city and I will say this…… our meals we 10/10.

The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered the Beef Spareribs tonight and I am super pleased. There Oxtails are delicious is well. Keep up the great work and delicious food.

MAN LISTEN. This was hands down the BEST soulfood I have EVER found in lake county ever in my 30 YR old life of living and dinning . Everything was amazing. Oxtail were so tender they fell apart. The sauce , too die for and the sides were all cooked to perfection. The rice , greens beans , cabbage and mac and cheese was all amazing. All of the meat (3 oxtail, Salisbury steaks , pot roast , fried dark meat chicken. ) was amazingly seasoned and cooked. Don't even get me started on the fact it was REAL BANNANS in the banana pudding. You cannot find a soulfood place like this everywhere so if you're in the area I'm begging you stop by and tip your cook. You will not regret it. I'm lacking the boxes clean as we speak.

I ordered 2 catfish dinners. The food was good, but the fish tasted like Swai...🤔
I know Catfish and this wasn't NO catfish.
But it was good.

Service is all right for delivery. It will be hot when you get it. Place was clean including the kitchen.

I ordered the Pork Chop entrée with Mac and cheese and yams. I also ordered an extra side of green beans. The pork chop was fried and seasoned very well crispy and crunchy. The Mac had real cheese not that slice cheese these restaurants sale now and the yams where not too sweet just the right amount. The side of green beans where delicious very well seasoned. I will definitely be back.

This has to be thee best soul food restaurant on vine street. The customer service was what got me then the food took my soul. I need more money info snack pack is what I’m diving into.

I ordered 2 bake chicken dinners with mac&cheese and yams, and one bbq whole wing dinner with mac&cheese and yams. This is THE BEST soul food dinners I have bought! I live out of the area, and I came her to visit my son. We don't have soul food restaurants like this good. Excellent service. Cook time was very reasonable. 5 stars!!

First time there! Ordered smothered dark meat 3 piece dinner! Food was amazing. Black eyed peas were delicious. Mac N Cheese was on point! So glad they moved some soul food into my area!!!

The food was GREAT! I had the opportunity to have a lengthy conversation with the owner. He is top shelf. Whenever I'm in town, I will definitely eat here. Don't miss out.

Food was so damn good. And I didn’t get a corn muffin or my peach cobbler smh. But I ordered the smothered chops, perch dinner and the fries came with barbecue sauce, y’all I cried it was so good 😂😂, I didn’t even care about the muffin or cobbler especially since UBereats refunded me! But go eat!!!!yesterday was my second time eating it and I’m probably going to order it again tonight 😂

This was my first time ever eating here and it was great I had smothered turkey chops ( OMG seasoned so wonderful) green's black eyed peas and rice and a cornbread muffin this was a great and priced well my birthday is November 30th and I plan to eat here

Best fried chicken I’ve ever had

Today was my first day trying the food. I ordered the wing dinner and catfish dinner and BABY!!!!! The food is outstanding! Well seasoned and VERY soulful!!!!!

Went the other day brought oxtails, Mac and cheese and cabbage I tell you I was dancing and eating at the same time that means it was finger licking good👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Mannnnnnn when I tell y’all they food is soooo mf good!! It’s soo good!! The snack pack with fries with the honey mustard bbq sauce is amazing!!!!! I work down the street and my coworker put me on and I put my other coworkers on to heights grill ! GO THERE NOW!

I drive 25 minutes each way for this food.

We got the chicken fries and salisbury steak! SO SO GOOD will be coming back
