Fabulous night discovering this new bar / restaurant downtown! This was a fun date night filled with good music and good food. The music was subtle and soft (not live music).

Sat at the bar and ordered a few drinks from happy hour. For food we ordered the oysters, Mardi Gras pasta, and veggie flatbread. The flatbread was sooo good that we ate every piece of it.

I recommend the food and drinks here! Not to mention the new Origin hotel design was very fun to observe.

Amazing menu, yummy food, and really friendly service at a new restaurant/hotel in downtown Baton Rouge!! We stayed at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and Louisiana classics at this cute joint. Would recommend to anyone, even if not staying at the hotel!

This place is a must!!!, the atmosphere is very pleasant, the food was delicious and the portions were good. But the po boy and hamburger bread was supreme.
Our waitress (beautiful girl with curly hair and light eyes... I forgot her name) was very friendly, she served us with a smile and guided us with the menu, even took her time to recommend places to visit.

My mother and I went to this place not knowing anything of it. Good thing we went, the water was so fun and nice, the food was delicious, and there was a good atmosphere. There wasn’t a lot of people, but it is new so maybe people don’t know about it. The restaurant is connected to the Origen hotel which is really convenient.

I stayed at the Origin Hotel and this was a convenient restaurant without having to walk outside so I gave it a try. I was famished after a long flight so I ordered a main entree along with a small plate. I ordered the Blackened Redfish Yaya as the main entree and the Shrimp & Crawfish Dip small plate. The main entree was okay, nothing special and a little burnt. But the dip was absolute cheesy gooey heaven! Highly recommended, I want to get it again next time I am back in Baton Rouge for business...it's that good.

We ate at Passe for Mother's Day brunch. I was a bit disappointed that we could only choose from the brunch menu which was rather small, especially since they weren't even busy. We had really been looking forward to the seafood beignets, but that wasn't on the brunch menu.

I ordered the Bananas Foster Pancakes. The pancakes were good, but the sauce was definitely off. The bananas were actually very thin and chewy. I didn't even know bananas could be chewy. I suspect that they used dehydrated bananas, but I can't be sure. Whatever they did, it was bad. My husband got the steak and it was overcooked with one side being much more done than the other. My mother got the shrimp and grits and I think her dish was okay.

With regard to decor, it was cute, but definitely not enough for a nice dinner. It was more like very nice diner decor.

I had heard good things about it, but it didn't live up to the hype.

Ordered breakfast sandwich on a weekend. Although, the food was pretty good, the waitress seemed to be a bit curt and on edge. For example, when I asked her what size are the pancakes, she asked "what do you mean?!" There were times I had to repeat myself or confused by her statements when she notified me that she had to clean off tables; I was not sure which tables needed to be cleaned off or where to sit.

I did notice she was by herself and working on a number of tables. I recommend that the establishment have at least two people working on the floor and at least one person at the bar area.

I'm not sure how the weekdays are but I do not wish to dine-in on weekends if Brione (sp?) is working. She needs to work on how she approaches people and reframe her responses with statements instead of questions. I do know other diners were responding to Brione behavior with a firm tone. I tried my best to answer her with a friendly tone. In light of this, the decor is funky yet warm and the food is very tasty.

My food was undercooked with bacon on it. I said no pork .( redfish yaya) .my friend had the porkchop, which was undercooked . It took over 20 min to get gumbo . and shrimp and crawfish dip. The experience was not worth the drive. My time. Or money.

This food was terrible. Worse than cafeteria food from the tiny school I went to in MS on leftover day. Seriously, I’ve had some bad food in my life and this restaurant is up there in the rankings as one of the worst. The fries were the worst offenders. The were different cuts, obviously frozen, and had been reheated multiple times. One was just raw potato on the inside, another had been reheated to an inedible crisp. The chicken was dry and not hot. They had clearly made the chicken a few days ago and threw it in the microwave or air fryer. Don’t waste your hard earned money here. There are lots of great restaurants in BR that deserve your money, but not this place. On the plus side, our waitress was great. But the food is the whole point of going to a restaurant.
