La Bella Vita - The Sagamore Resort

Had brunch at La Bella Vita during our stay at the Sagamore hotel. The brunch experience was outstanding. All three of us loved the spread. We will definitely be back in the morning for another round!

The pizza was phenomenal and the price couldn't be beat. Highly recommend

La Bella Vita Ristorante is located in the beautiful resort, Sycamore, that overlooks Lake George in Bolton. Parking is free and when the weather is nice, you can eat outside. Even in the winter, they had a heated, covered patio available. The restaurant is so beautiful. It’s worth coming just for the views. The prices are typical of NYC prices.

Cane here for our anniversary dinner. Service and food impeccable. Staff very attentive. Salmon was fresh and well prepared. Prices reasonable. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

I had seen some low reviews of this place so I was concerned it would be “hotel restaurant” quality. It was ok because we were really going for the ambiance and view.

I was so wrong. The food was amazing. All of the meat was clearly cooked by very skilled chefs. The filet was a perfect rare, the short rib almost disintegrated, and the chicken saltimbocca was the best I’ve ever had. Perfect view, and perfect service. You’ll love it.

This place is amazing. It has a beautiful environment. The food is good, I loved the pizza. The view is incredible. Sometimes they have live music and the bar next to the restaurant is really enjoyable. Good place to have a good time with family or friends.

Excellent food and service. They can accommodate your special dietary needs including gluten and egg allergies. Salads are delicious. Fresh fish tends to be overcooked and thus dry; some of the food can be salty. Pizza is high quality and delicious. Enjoy.

What a beautiful day it was. Took 2 of my friends to see The Sagamore. They had some beverages, sat outside, taking in the air, the grounds and the surrounding landscape. They enjoyed it so much they wanted to stay for dinner. Reservations were tight, but they were able to accommodate us. Food was excellent as it always is. They will be back.

There is no place like dining outside at La Bella Vita. Amazing cuisine, service and view.

Ate here for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was ok, the waffles with maple syrup, strawberries and chocolate shavings was good. The highlight was the latte, perfectly made with the rock sugar stick on the side.
Lunch was very good. Meatballs were excellent and the strawberry scone with vanilla ice cream was so amazing I want to come back just for that.

A delicious pizza, fresh salad and an iced soda pop server on balcony overlooking the expansive Lake George, shared with my grandson. Life does not get better. Especially when my finicky grandson walks away telling me that our waiter was great. The young man really knew how to communicate, and knew how to sell his menu.

Phenomenal customer service and friendly, attentive, detail-oriented staff. Food is excellent and promptly delivered. The hostess, Melu, was able to accommodate our special requests on a busy night and came through for us despite being under tremendous pressure. She definitely deserves a raise. Kim and Erin did a wonderful job providing recommendations and show our five year old daughter a great time by keeping her engaged when they tended our table. Well done all around by the staff here! Would recommend this establishment to anyone looking to spend a special evening or weekend together, or just seeking a quality fine dining experience!

Main restaurant at the Sagamore. Like the hotel in which it is located it is not cheap but you should not expect it to be. Eat inside or out on the deck. Service is top notch. We enjoy the conversations with the young men and women servers, many of whom are from foreign countries and working while they visit the United States. Do not take that as a signal of inexperience. Our waiter, born in South Africa and getting to America via time living in France was as good as it gets with knowledgeable advice from wine to dessert.

Great food! Really good cocktails. Great atmosphere for families or couples. Wait staff is top notch and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your meal.

Super breakfast ... Wonderful variety of fresh fruits / yogurts / and usually pancakes / waffles / eggs cooked to one's liking and breakfast meats .. terrific lattes and AMAZING views of the lake from the large deck

Excellent restaurant, beautiful views, loved the heated deck.

I had a fantastic dinner on arriving at the resort, but the real highlight was the warm welcome from our server Knashville. We had a great time!

Great appetizer spread for $14 and desserts buffet for $10. Service was personable and professional. Very pleased.
