Panther Mountain Inn and Tavern

The restaurant is great for a quick meal or if you're into sitting at the bar for a few drinks. Haven't stayed in the hotel, so I can't rate that.

I was looking for a place to eat and saw that they were still open. It was almost 8:30 pm so I went in and ordered a burger and ordered a philly wrap for my mom and mozzarella sticks and a half order of buffalo wings for takeout. When I got home my mozzarella sticks were missing and the kitchen was now closed. She said that the next time I come in she would give me a free order or discount another order for the price. My mom said the wings were the best she had in a long time and they were jumbo wings. Lots of meat and cooked to perfection.She also loved her philly cheesesteak wrap and the portion was generous. My burger was an 8oz (half pound) burger with bacon and cheddar cheese. It was huge. It comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle and fries. I ordered it medium well. It was moist and juicy but it had burned areas on the outside of the burger I did not like but that is a personal preference and I am rating this on the quality of the food. Now the French fries were freaking amazing. I am wondering if they are homemade because some had skins on but the were light and fluffy on the inside and had that crisp outside. The only thing is there is no salt on them and by the time I got home the salt wouldn't stick, but that's not their fault. I put them in the microwave for 30 seconds to warm them up, put salt on them, and closed the box and shook them up to get an even distribution and they were excellent. They were just as good as my uncles homemade fries. I have been back 3 times since then and the food is amazing. Their pizza is ok. I'm a tough critic on that coming from the Long island/NYC area so it takes a lot for me to give pizza a 5 star. I would say theirs is a good 3.5 while I would give their other food 5 stars. Definitely a great place to get a burger or wings and the pricing isn't bad for the generous portions you get. I think a whole order of fries was $4 If you are eating fries as a side to a meal item, a half order is plenty. I'm definitely adding them into places I frequent for takeout when I'm celebrating something and want to treat my mom & I to a good meal.

Sat night wanted something to eat, found this place called in 2 pizzas and a wrap at 930 on a sat night. Pizza was delicious and so was the wrap will definitely be ordering food from there again

We walked in to the Inn first, but we're redirected to the litter level entrance to the restaurant/bar. Our server (who doubled as the bartender) was Awesome! The place had a dive bar feel, and we had the children with us. The back dining room is cozy but separate from the bar (though you can see and hear everything during the bar. We had pizza and chicken fingers and the food was great! If you can tolerate the nose from the bar, this is a great place for an unhealthy meal.

We stayed one night because the weather got too cold in our tent. We found this place just by driving around and it was definitely worth the price. $88 for the night, hot water was fine, heat was great, and we stayed very warm. it’s definitely an older building but we didn’t hear anything. Slept well, although the bed is older and squeaky it was very comfortable and great for catching some shut eye😊 they had coffee made in the morning. There was a fridge in our room and in the lobby with some soda and water with a few snacks provided. The pub downstairs had a pool table, juke box and some AMAZING food. Pizza, wings, fries, pork wings, onion rings. Can’t complain. Very clean and very nice service. Thank you Jamie!!! Service was excellent!!!!

Honestly I've never stayed in the rooms but I've seen them and they look like decent well maintained rooms

We recently stayed here after being forced off the road by a snowstorm. The family that owns this little inn was so friendly and accommodating and it was amazing to have a warm, comfortable place to spend the night. We were even able to go downstairs to the attached pub and grab dinner and drinks before heading to bed. Finding this place made an otherwise terrible night feel so much better :)

Always a great place to stay. We know the families that own it and they always put out great food. Lovely events as well. A couple weeks ago they hosted a tree lightening. It was beautiful! Thanks Panther Mtn. Really think if you are looking for a small town experience with some great shops within walking distance. If you ever get a chance to come to the area. Leave me a note would love to hear the stories.

Good food, and beer. Lodging was comfortable and reasonably priced. Has both heat and a/c. Flimsy doors.

My family had a great night at the “P”. We enjoyed great food,drinks, and live music. Anytime we visit the Adirondacks this is the place my family enjoys going to. The new owners are great! I highly recommend checking out this fantastic place.

Very good food, not too expensive. The waiter/bartender/host was fantastic and the chili and pizza were sooo good! Nice spot and highly recommended!

We ordered a pizza. It was delicious. Our bartender was awesome. We were happy to meet the new owner. Definitely will be back.

Great place to stay. Prices were good and the owner Don was very welcoming. Came for the Rum Runners weekend and had a great time. Rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable.

Tuesday pitcher and a pizza is a screaming deal! I love this place! Play some pool, killer draft beers, a jukebox! Can’t beat it!
