Personally, I've had a great experience here. The staff has always been friendly, as well as the different physicians I've met with. They've been very informative and have guided me through my pregnancy. They even got me in same day when I had a scare regarding my baby's well-being. They call me regularly with updates on results and paperwork. No complaints. I'm very happy with my Ob/Gyn team.

Don't know what the other reviews are really talking about, the office, doctors, and nurses have all been great. Had to reschedule once due to illness but was given plenty of advanced warning, and never had issues making appointments. Only issue I've had is the occasional referral to another office not being put in due to communication issues (always resolved at the following appointment), but overall I've had very pleasant experiences. I chose to go here based on reviews for the doctor I assigned to and I am very pleased with my choice, especially after having a very traumatic experience at a previous office. Very friendly atmosphere and the medical staff seem to genuinely care about patients' well being. Highly recommend this place.

I love this office but this issue is I had a miscarriage had to have the DNC not one but twice! Because they didn’t remember all the stuff ended up having to stay in hospital with an infection for 3 days. Then got a nice bill from them for over $20,000 even though they take my insurance.and that was for the first procedure.

Had an absolutely horrible and stressful experience here. I see now why they only have 2 stars. And, whoever "Amber" is probably should find a new profession. I had my first pre-natal appointment booked for the past 5 weeks and received multiple communications within that 5 week period about reminders, etc. Today, 2 hours before my appointment, Amber called me to say that my referral on file expired. First, the receptionist who booked my appointment should have checked the expiration date on my referral, and, why was I being called just 2 hours before my appointment at 7am about this? The ball was dropped twice on their end and none of this was my fault, but I rushed to get on a call with my physician and got my referral put through within 5 minutes. When I got to the office, the receptionist said that the referral was not in their system yet. I spoke with Amber again, told her I had my physician put the referral through, and was still made to pay $1,500 on the spot for the appointment since they could not be patient and wait for my referral to come through. On top of that, she was so rude as if she had no blame here. I did my part, so I have no idea what Amber gets paid for since this is her job that she is clearly not doing well at. West Coast OBGYN clearly does business by having incompetent employees then having the patients literally pay the price for their incompetence. Regardless, I will be speaking with Amber's leadership team and we are actually switching to a different provider's office entirely.

I came here for blood work and they never called me with my results, I called several times to find out they discarded my blood because the wrong name was put on my blood vial. I went back a second time and the girl that took my blood didn’t have my name on it the second time. I argued I’m not giving blood unless my correct information was on it first. When they submitted my work to the lab a second time for some reason they only ran one of the 3 tests that was ordered and threw out my sample again. The office wanted me to come back a 3rd time for the same thing I gave blood for twice. I declined because they are not competent and taking blood and running tests.

This was truly an unprofessional experience.

My wife and I have had this 8-week checkup appointment booked for over 4 weeks. 24 hours before the appointment we received a text to confirm that we were still confirmed for our appointment. We were asked to arrive at the office at 7:30 am on 5/5, and wouldn’t you know it, we receive a call at 7:24 saying they need to cancel due to sickness.

In a professional medical practice, how is it that you don’t have a backup plan in case of sickness? Why would you go through this 24-hour prior to confirmation if there wasn’t a plan. Unprofessional taste of a subpar medical practice.

I generally don't give much weight to reviews with very few reviewers, especially if they are negative. I read the one review and called for an appointment.
This group was recommended by another doctor but I didn't have a written referral. The scheduler refused to schedule me until she had a written referral. This had nothing to do with insurance.
So, I called another of the West Coast OB/GYN offices and made an appointment at the other office with no problem at all. This reminded me of the time decades ago where I had an appointment with a female OB/GYN and the front desk wouldn't let me see the doctor because I listed myself rather than my husband as the responsible party (and refused to change it).

Amber will call you the day of your appointment to tell you anything. They knew 3 months in advance about my insurance and told me the day of that I was out of network.
