Every experience I've had with the employees of the post office and the annex has been overwhelmingly positive. When my package said delivered and I didn't see it in my post box or a key to a parcel locker, I called the annex and the manager personally drove to my address to check that my package had been delivered and the key to the parcel locker was in my mail box. These are fine people who go above and beyond!

I was sorry to hear of all the negative experiences others have had. I had an issue with a package that was delivered to my old college address where I hadn't lived in years. I called the post office and a woman named Katrina was so kind and helpful in securing it and having it sent to my current location.

I was helping an elderly neighbor who has low vision and is very hard of hearing. She was getting ready to go to Arizona for a couple months to visit her twin sister, whom she hasn't seen in almost 25 years. She wanted to put a hold on her mail, buy some stamps for postcards to send back to her grandkids, and inquire about getting a passport (because she and her sister are thinking about going down to Nicaragua with a church group, to distribute donations she recently raised from a bunch of people during a Trump Inauguration party in Bangor.

I was expecting it to be a miserable experience, but the gentleman who helped us ("Gary") was incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. What a great experience from the U.S. Postal Service!! Kudos!!!

Good service. My only suggestion is to make sanitizer available for customers when they walk in.

I have no problem getting packages anywhere else through USPS. Though somehow for some reason every package I’ve gotten this year through USPS is sent out for delivery and some numb-nut delivers it to the wrong facility. Every time. Then it gets delayed an extra 3-4 days. Nice work.

Normally I don't have a problem with this post office but today was really bad. First I tried to call them because the BMV told me to in regards of an ID we've been waiting on. I called the number that Google provided, got put on hold for a half hour just to find out it wasn't even for the Orono branch. When I finally found the number I needed I was told to talk to the delivery department since they apparently don't handle that stuff, then the guy on the phone gave me the number and just hung up on me. Very rude

If I could give negative stars, I would. I’ve gone into this particular post office twice and interacted with 2 different employees. Both were extremely rude and and always replied with snarky answers. For workers who interact with people all day, you’d think that they would have a little decency when talking to customers. I DO NOT look forward to the next time I have to go there.

Always very rude and don't know how to give proper customer service. Also are very unhelpful when it comes to delivering packages and have returned mine frequently just because I wasn't there to pick them up because apparently a mailbox means nothing these days. Would love to see this post office under better management or different employees them maybe things might be better.

Went there twice to do a money order. I swipe my card and it doesn't work. I ask if I can use the other card swiper (there are two), and the first time they let me and my card worked fine.

The 2nd time, they refused to allow me to use the other card swiping machine and so I had to withdraw money from the ATM across the street for $3. The entire both times they sneered and acted as if I was poor because my card wasn't working, when it's in fact one of their machines being broken. How have these people not been reprimanded or fired is beyond me. Probably the worst service I have ever gotten at any non-restaurant establishment.

I'm sitting inside right now as I write this review, the man at the counter hung up the phone with a customer asking about a passport, the man was getting very frustrated and rude and when he hung he said out loud "that man is a jerk" to me and another customer in the building. (Edited after I left:) Very bad experience and I will NOT be returning.

It is ridiculous that you can not call and speak to a person. When someone does not receive their mail on more than one occasion yet you can not call into the postal service and speak to an actual person is absolutely ridiculous.
