I don't go that often but have always found the staff very helpful, efficient and personable. Ms Carter went out of her way to help me today.

Overall good service. Some things not communicated well - for instance my mail box was knocked off the ledge where several people’s boxes are in a snow storm. All that was needed was to pick it up, but because of this the mail wasn’t delivered and it was marked as “per customer request.” I had important packages and as this was a Saturday I then had to wait until Monday to pick them up. However, when I came in staff was very friendly and helped me locate the packages right away, and were also helpful when I needed to ship some things.

Michelle the lead store clerk… is a miserable person who should not be employed here! I travel a lot for work and well I stopped in at the Freeport location 141 main st to drop of 10 small packages and asked for a receipt for my record of me dropping off I was told she doesn’t have not her problem and walked off! So I called to speak to a manager and behold she is the lead due to manager being out on deliveries, I asked when will the manger be in and was told she won’t ,I continued to ask why she couldn’t give me a receipt and she responded not her job since I live in Augusta and next time bring to my Augusta location then hung up on me! Unbelievable if you hate your job this much leave! Post office needs to look into her conduct here! Even her coworkers looked at me with confusion of why she couldn’t just print a recipe AFTER SHE ALREADY SCANNED THEM! Wish could leave 0 star

My informed delivery toldme I was supposed to receive my check on Monday. Here it is Thursday and we have had zero deliveries all week. I walked into the post office this morning and was told sorry no mail delivery all week. I told them I was waiting on a check, which us now 4 days late. The mail man was willing look for my mail, but then the lady at the counter barked at him and said no.She then rudely toldme all mail was getting delivered today,be patient. Now themail has been delivered, but I recieved nothing. So I went back to the post office and was told they didn't get to it today. And no they won't look for my mail. But my neighbor wnt to the post office and they were willing to look for hers. But not mine apparently.

Unbelievable! Another day without a delivery! Critical packages that tracking shows as "Out for delivery" for days, checks that are desperately needed - and we get nothing! We're lucky to see one mail delivery each week for the past month or more. The counter staff tries to help, but who's in charge of this fiasco?

Told them that USPS LOST an extremely important package of mine (master disc of a film I've been working on for TEN YEARS). Nobody cares! They just wait for you to stop talking and leave. They REFUSE to pay insurance. No one will search for my package, even though they know where it was last scanned. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY OR REMORSE. Why would I ever use USPS again in my life? The trust is permanently broken. It seems no one here cares at all. I will never forget this and this is one of the worst things anyone has ever done to me.

If I could rate my experience negative 10 I would. Just left and dealt with a woman that not only didn't know how to help me but insulted me. As I was in there to get a PO box in another state I was lectured and judged about how I am not preparing for a retirement as I needed to quit my job to move. Then she went on to tell me about her boat and 2 pensions she had. Customer service was not on her list. With her lack of knowledge on completing what I needed done the line was backing up and I offered to let her help everyone but she continued. I stopped her and told her to shred my paperwork and I'd go somewhere else. As I left a gentleman who heard the whole situation unnecessarily apologized for her behavior and wished me luck. Whether I misperceived her intentions another customer confirmed my feelings.
To the woman who worked today, Monday August 3 at 11:30, you are lucky to have a luxurious and secure government job with benefits and work hours the average middle class American dreams of.

Absolutely the most unkind and belittling woman behind the counter last Monday. Why? Whats wrong? In my home state the post office is happy to give a strip of tape and sometimes extra to secure a pkg. And if you want to compare mailing costs they are happy to oblige. Seriously USPS you need to put this lady in a box and ship her off. She gives ur town and state a bad impression for travelers passing thru or looking to relocate. Don't go here America unless you like to be beaten up by a bully.

It's always wonderful to be treated like a common criminal when trying to move to a town. Especially because we all KNOW how well post offices communicate. /sarcasm

It's a very bad delivery service! Probably, they don't have enough employees for that...

What's up with the lady behind the counter? Seriously you need counseling.
