The Dock Stillwater

We ended up at the dock Stillwater due to longer than expected wait times elsewhere and we were pleasantly surprised! We were treated with top notch customer service and amazing food. It is right on the river so in the summer I’m sure the view is great. We got the New York strip and the whiskey salmon which were delicious. We will be back!

I had an absolutely delightful lunch with a dear friend at this place. The patio overlooking the serene river created a truly enchanting atmosphere. The weather was perfect, adding to the overall charm of the experience. The service we received was attentive and friendly.
As for the food, I opted for a spinach salad adorned with succulent strawberries, crunchy walnuts, and delectable salmon. While the combination seemed a bit unconventional to my personal taste, the individual ingredients were undeniably fresh and flavorful.
On the other hand, my friend decided to indulge in a juicy, tender steak, which they deemed excellent in every aspect. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and left them thoroughly satisfied.
Overall, despite my slight reservation about the flavor combination in my salad, the overall experience was truly wonderful.

The Dock has hands down, my favorite food in Stillwater. Everytime I have eaten here, it’s been better than the last. Everything on the menu is incredible. They have the best chicken sandwich I have ever had, and I order one at nearly every restaurant that has them. The steak bowl is also incredible, and was a hit with my group the last time I went. I would also highly recommend the chicken wild rice soup. Their breakfast is also amazing, seriously. Aside from the food, the staff and environment are also phenomenal. The back patio has absolutely gorgeous views of the river. The staff is tentative and so friendly. Cannot recommend this place enough!

What a wonderful night we had at The Dock in Stillwater last night! The food was perfect and the waiter was so careful and thoughtful helping one of our party of sixteen with specific dietary restrictions. We could not have had better service or atmosphere and the drinks were fun and festive 🥂 Try the “Jack Frost”!

Extremely good food with a view that simply can't be beat. Everything we ate was top notch quality but the view speaks for itself. There's other places with food this good but you really can't get this view and food in one place anywhere else.

My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch at the Dock recently. We parked our boat at the City Docks and walked over. I had a Walleye sandwich and she had the Reuben. We were STUFFED! Big portions and the food was excellent! The ambiance was second to none, beautiful, warm day sitting on the water looking at the old Lift bridge. Looking forward to returning!

I went here in October. The patio was not open at this point obviously. I would like to come back in the summer to sit out of the patio. I enjoyed the atmosphere here. Was very comfortable, and had some great views of the river. The staff was friendly. The food was good. I had a salad. Next time, I will try out the walleye sandwich.

Amazing service!!! Our group of 20 ate here while on a girl’s trip to Stillwater. Accommodating large groups can be a challenge, but wow did our server Mike do an exceptional job. Our top meal experience of the weekend hands down! Food and cocktails were delicious as well!

Great service but it’s busy so call ahead for a reservation. The food comes hot and fresh. Perfect location on the riverside (it’s the only restaurant directly on the water). They also have a bar area outside which looked mega fun.

Wandered in for lunch on a sunny Tuesday in April, and were delighted! We chose a table facing the beautiful StCroix River. Service was prompt and friendly. BLT sandwich was delicious, loaded with flavor! Garden salad was fresh and large, with lots of crunchy veggies. Bartender was eager to help us expand our beer tasting experience (our fav was Salty Crew). River front location with light oak and big windows. Located adjacent to the Browns Creek State bike trail in Historic Stillwater downtown.

My wife and I had a most pleasant lunch here. Sara was a great server. The chicken sandwich was fine, my wife enjoyed her reuben saying that it was lean. I had a bite, it had good flavor. Once I learned that the potato chips that come with the sandwich were seasoned (why do so many MN restaurants do that?) I went with the fries.

I love this place. Great views of the St. Croix River. Pleasant atmosphere. We've always had good service and friendly staff.

Fun riverside restaurant and bar. Ordered the Smoked BLT and the Bread and oil and two bloody Mary’s. Food was outstanding as well as a well balanced Bloody Mary. Atmosphere was very clean and organized and the staff was fun. Will definitely be returning.

Delicious!! My wife and I went to Dock Cafe to celebrate Christmas with a late lunch. It was my first trip and it was great!

To start we both had a drink. My wife had white wine and I had a Manhattan. My Manhattan was nice without being super sweet. They use a pretty mild whiskey that doesn’t have a big bite.

The chicken wild rice soup was pretty average which is still really good.

My blackened walleye sandwich was the perfect combination of elements. The walleye was tender and you could still taste the fish even with the blackening spice. The tartar sauce was really good too. Where do I get a vat of that?

My wife’s salmon sandwich was anything but boring. The salmon was perfectly cooked with a large portion. The glaze wasn’t sweet, which is always a fear of mine, and it added a nice flavor.

Great place to have lunch. We will be back this summer!

Great atmosphere to enjoy a great meal on the river. Food was excellent and the drinks were tasty.

Every time we have come into this restaurant for a luncheon it has been amazingly great. Heather has been our server and I believe she is more of a mixologist than just a bartender. She makes this place. The view and the food and the cocktails have always been so delicious. Heather’s suggestions to whether it’s food or spirits have been top notch! I strongly suggest you make a visit here when Heather is working. Every time we have been here it’s been wonderful and awesome. Expresso Martini, Mojito, Christmas Egg Nog you name it Heather can make a cocktail you will never forget. She makes this place classy and fun!

The view & location is top knotch. Service was good. 5 stars for the gentleman pictured whom I watched go above & beyond for the party (birthday.) He took pictures, doted, and really seemed to enjoy his job. Awesome 😎

Really quite exquisite. Shrimp was perfectly cooked (as in, not overcooked at all) and Bryn was a great server. Wonderful view of the river and bridge
