Carol who owns the shop is one of my favorite people on the planet and so are all of the girls that work there! I go in to find incredible value and quality and I am never disappointed. I also enjoy the vibe and the time spent with the ladies

Update: Someone must be listening, because in the last year I've seen a lot more effort to pay attention to every customer - and not just the well known ones - at this store. They've also cleared out some of the consignment pieces that had been on the rack for at least a year, making it more of a fun place for discoveries. The quality of the clothing is, as it always was, incredibly high. Actual designer pieces among a lot of contemporary brands. They particularly have great sweaters and dresses. In these pandemic times, it would be helpful if they solicited more high-end lounge-ish apparent (linen blends, slow fashion brands, small-brand sweats, etc), but that's a nit-pick and may not be easy to find among the Sun Valley jet set. And it would be really nice if, especially in tricky categories like pants, they divided their selection by size - and not just color. But still, if you are hunting for treasures and find yourself in Ketchum, Consign Design is a must-visit.

Original post: RUDE. I come by here every time I'm in SV (at least two times a year) and their clothes, while sometimes a bit matronly, are in excellent condition and mostly true designer finds. For example, I just got a Prada skirt in a great "Memphis design"-style print for $40! But my lord, in all the times I've been there, they have never acted like I was a customer worth knowing. The ladies talk amongst themselves, don't put the pile of clothes in your arms into a dressing room for you *until you ask*, and just generally ignore you. I wouldn't bother to review, but this time I came 45 minutes before closing time and they just Would Not Stop telling me they were going to close soon. In any other decent store I've always been told "we have things to do to close up - take your time!" Not today! "You have eight minutes!" Seriously?! I walked away from a perfectly fitting Diane Von Furstenberg dress because they were so impatient. Will I come back? Probably. The clothes are good. Do they need to hear about their attitude problem? Yes, yes they do.

my girlfriend was denied entry because she has a medical alert service dog. the owner had 3 pet dogs that were harassing her service dog and the owner incredibly rudely demanded she leave. it is illegal to deny entry to a service dog and their handlers under the american disability association.

Went there to shop with my friends and they don’t understand basic ADA law; they rudely prohibited my friends clearly marked service dog from entering due to her pets being there. Hers were untrained and she doesn’t even allow kiddos to enter due to them being in the store.

Me and my service dog were very rudely told by the owner that I had to leave the store because her three French bulldogs were harassing my dog. It is a volition of federal law and a form of discrimination to deny entry to a service dog and their handler. I have a seizure disorder and require the help of my dog in order to make sure I do not have a health emergency.

This store deserves Zero stars. Owner is unfriendly and rude.
