I was seen in the new Hoover office. When I walked in, the waiting room was clean and inviting. The check-in process was insanely easy and staff were lovely. I saw Dr. Bentley. As soon as he came in and offered his big beautiful smile, I knew I was going to be in good hands. I was nervous because I was referred to him due to an illness I thought was internal medicine and I really felt he was not going to be able to help me. The nurse, nurse practitioner, and the Dr were all kind, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. Not only was he able to help me, he actually listened to me and is working to find the best solution based on my difficult situation, allergies and other medical conditions. He even treated another dermatology condition. I'm so used to being rushed through and having to wait weeks for another appointment to have anything else looked at or discussed. The compassion I felt in this office was mind blowing. I actually teared up. It's been a long time since I felt a Dr really cared about me. I would recommend them over and over. Dr Bentley's knowledge on both of my issues was extensive. He's definitely not a Dr who would only try one thing and give up on you. I feel safe that he's here for me until we find the right treatment plan. A Dr who cares and listens to you is a rare gem.

i came for a routine checkup on a couple of minor concerns. they were so polite and professional! my nurse was super sweet and had me taken care of quickly and effeciently. they explained the procedures and prescriptions thoroughly. the staff were very welcoming and helpful with my questions regarding my treatment and insurance. would absolutely recommend them!

Dr. Bentley and staff are so kind. I had my first appointment this morning at 7:45. I was out by 8:30. I had a concerning spot in my eyelid, and it was taken care of quickly and with very little pain. Highly recommend this practice for all skincare needs!

I had a difficult time with dupixent and insurance and Shelia helped and guided me the whole way through. She made sure she called and me and informed me about everything as far as when insurance was letting her know information.After I received my shot my skin has been great ever since

I am extremely happy about the great service provided to me at Dermatology Care of Alabama. Trey (CRNP) and Shelia (PA) are fabulous. They always treat me very well during my visits. Both are professional, kind, caring, and take such good personal care of me as a patient. I'm very impressed with this facility.

My appointment with DCA was Monday 2/13.
The staff has always been friendly, professional and no long wait time. Shelia is the young lady whom I usually end up with for further questions, prescriptions, etc. Kudos to Shelia as she has always been so helpful, smiling, very professional to assist and never an attitude for my questions.

Very nice facility, everyone was super nice and treated me well. The nurse and doctor both spent a good bit of time answering questions and I felt like they truly cared about my wellness.

This is my first experience with a dermatologist and it went very well! I was nervous about letting them see my hair which I have kept wrapped up for the past 2 years because of alopecia. Mrs. Warren was very professional and caring! The receptionist was having sinus problems from pollen and she still was very nice even though she wasn't feeling well and that says a lot about your character! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

I love this place and everyone is sweet but Nikki is especially awesome. She listens and is very thorough. You can feel how much she truly cares about your questions and concerns.

I became a new patient about a month ago and was pleased with my experience. The staff is very kind and seem to care about the patient. I was in and out in a timely manner too!

Dr. Bentley is very thorough and kind. My biopsy experience went extremely well and he was also very patient with my many questions. 😊

For years I have cried over my son's debilitating eczema. His skin would crack and bleed everyday and there was nothing that worked for him. Dr. Bentley prescribed him Dupixent and it has changed our lives! Sheila worked tirelessly to get the authorizations from our insurance and the mailaway pharmacy to expedite our order. Trey helped us soothe my very upset child so he was able to teach us how to administer this new medication and they've both cried tears of joy with me when it all paid off. My son is now experiencing relief like he has never had before. I couldn't be more grateful! Please go and see them if you are fighting with eczema! There are definitely hoops that have to be jumped through but this office does everything in their power to help.

I take my mom to Dr. Bentley. They are attentive. They listen. They give you a plan to follow and things turn out great. Busy practice though. You may have to wait but I think if you really have a skin issue it's worth it. Just plan ahead for some delay.

I really appreciate this great group of people. My skin is improving and I have definitely learned more about Speciality Pharmacies. I want to thank Shelia for her persistence with the insurances and pharmacies! Thank you Dermatology Care in Tuscaloosa!

Really like the efficient operation and actually seeing Dr. Bentley in a timely manner. Dr. Bentley does a great job checking for potential problems, and following up. The office now offers Cool Sculpting and other services. They will be moving to their new building on Rice Mine Road in a few months.

My GP sent me here because I keep complaining about hair loss. I saw Dr Bentley who quickly determined my problem. He was friendly, personable, knowledgeable, and put my fears to rest.

I’ve been to at least 3 other dermatologist over the years and this is the first one that has actually done anything that helped with my skin problems. At my appts I’m never left waiting long and I also never feel rushed when seeing the doctor. So happy I finally found them!
