Came in for lunch and the place was very busy! Our food took a long time to arrive so definitely not a quick meal. This place is a bit more casual but still nice and sitting out on the patio would be a great date night idea. Our server was very nice and offered good suggestions. I was deciding between a burger and the Meme, and she told me the Meme was amazing, so I ordered her recommendation. I believe all meals come with a choice of side and there are so many great southern options to choose from!

The meme is a biscuit with fried chicken tenders, bacon, and gravy. The fried chicken was amazing! One of the best seasoned pieces of chicken I’ve ever had. The biscuit was pretty average and I wasn’t a huge fan of the gravy but the combination of all the ingredients with the bacon was excellent.

My boyfriend got the grilled chicken (comes with cheese and bacon on top) with hash brown casserole and pimento cheese as his sides. Again, the chicken is seasoned wonderfully! The hash brown casserole is pretty good and cheesy. The Mac and cheese has good flavor but isn’t creamy.

I’d absolutely recommend this place! You won’t have to worry about bland food. Everything was very flavorful and we enjoyed our meal

Southern Ale House was able to provide us with rehearsal dinner and reception catering for our wedding in July. They were always timely with communication, followed through on deadlines, and most important of all, delivered two delicious meals for our event. Their prices are competitive and their staff was always friendly and courteous to us inside and outside of the restaurant even before we elected to utilize their catering services. They also cut our cake! If you have an event in need of food I would give them a try!

Very nice and cool place to eat. Fresh very good quality food and nice friendly staff. Will definitely eat here again. The ribeye, mac n cheese and asparagus was delicious and the appetizers are very good also especially the prime rib rolls.

Fun, casual place to have a good meal. I like their brunch on the patio when the weather is good. They have a good bar menu and their margaritas are some of the best in the city. They are known for their biscuits. Our favorites foods are the MeMe sandwich, the biscuit burger , and we also love the burger sliders that are topped with homemade pimento cheese. Sooo good! Food is delicious. I had the grilled shrimp salad. It was the best I've ever had. The elderflower martini... is not my favorite. But still nice to try new things. I tried the other drinks people ordered and they were all really good. Service was friendly and prompt. I will definitely be back to this spot!

This is my 2nd time eating here. But 1st time rating. My service was good but not excellent (see takeaways below). My food came out hot and fresh. Food was Delicious. Today, I ordered the Bacon Cheese Fries, Bama Chicken Sliders (ask for extra bbq sauce) and Adult Strawberry Lemonade. Food was filling & I feel worth the price. I also got some answers to a few questions I had.

- Tuesday Burger Special: It’s only a special if you’re drinking beer. Buy a burger and get the beer happy hour price. Happy hour is Mon-Thur 3-6 pm. So depending on the time you go, its not really a deal.

I would definitely eat here again.

Great food! Dill Pickle burger was great! The sweet potato tots were very different! Loved them! The wife ordered the cheeseburger sliders and she ate them all and said they were delicious! Thanks SAH for a great meal!

Biscuit sandwiches are AWESOME. Had the Me-me, highly recommend.

This is one of my lunch favorites. The food is consistently good, and the menu is great. The waitresses are excellent. It is a great place for a business lunch, or to grab a quick lunch at the bar. The Chicken Chopped wedge is really good, as well as the Dill-Pickle Burger.

What a fun place to eat. Our waiter was very patient and was so helpful. We got there at 4pm and by the time we left there was plenty of people there. The grilled pork chops were the special and they did an awesome job with them.🥩

Had dinner here on a Saturday evening. It Can get very loud but they do have seating outside. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Chicken tenders looked a bit over cooked (darker than golden brown) but we're still very moist inside. We shared a bourbon bread pudding. It was big and delicious. We couldn't finish it.

So thankful for a place to get some delicious, safe gluten free food! Atmosphere is great! We have always had great servers and everyone we go with that’s not gf loves it too.

1st time dining here, saw the reviews were good and it was highly recommended from a friend. The Adult Strawberry Lemonade is delicious!! It was the perfect way to end date night! I enjoyed Blackened Mahi Mahi, grilled asparagus and Sweet potato tots absolutely delicious! My date had the Pickle Double Cheeseburger and cheese fries...for an appetizer we devoured the Buffalo cheese dip with homemade chips...You will not be disappointed, definitely planning to go back soon.

One of the better restaurants in Tuscaloosa. Chicken tenders were nice and meaty. Broccoli was tasty and the fries (not pictured) appeared to be hand cut and were thick with a nice flavor.

We were passing through heading back to Texas, decided to give this place a try. Our server Madison did a great job. We had a few questions and she answered everyone of our questions. She had several other tables, but she was very attentive to our table. We would definitely go back. Great job Madison. We loved the Prime Rib Rolls and the Fried Pork Skins with Buffalo Pimento Cheese Dip.

It was a great all around experience! Not a fan of the sweet potato tots. They were salty on the outside and not sweet at all. Tried dipping in honey, but that didn't do anything for me either. I will try a different vittle next time.
