Update 12/16 (and updated pics of the bomb a** food)
Sammy (area manager I think?) reached out and was the sweetest! She apologized , and I apologized for acting like a Karen, but she totally understood the principle and was super understanding! She gave me free meal vouchers to use if I decided to try them again. We did and it was an entirely different experience. Food was great and so fresh. Everyone was friendly. I really appreciate the effort they made to let me know that’s not how they want customers to feel and that they made things right. 🫶🏻🫶🏻

One star only because my dog really enjoyed it and he’s pretty picky. This was the nastiest food I’ve had while spending over $50. I NEVER complain but this was such a rip off. Girl at pick up was rude. 7 pieces of okra. Macaroni was SOUR. CFC pure rubber. I called to speak to manager like a total Karen and was so embarrassed to even call, but this was $50 worth of food we could not eat! They hung up on me 3x! Don’t go here!

The food was great and service was amazing. I believe the girls name was Emily, but she was amazing and very attentive. Not too mention she was pretty cute as well. Doesn't hurt to have a cute waitress while enjoying your food. But over all i would recommend eating here if you want a home cook food style place.

It was my first time ever going to cotton patch and all I can say is that service from Chloe was phenomenal. Her service was possibly the absolute best I’ve ever experienced when dining out with friends. Execution of service and care for not only us but other tables was taken to an most utmost level of satisfaction. I felt as though not only my expectation was exceeded, but my dining needs were held and performed in the nicest experience I have honestly ever experienced. I hope that her marvelous services will be rewarded in the long run for her efforts towards the customers of cotton patchs leisure. I will be dining here more often from now on. :)

Exquisite was my server and she was absolutely that! Great service and old home Texas food, a perfect chicken fired steak fork tender and seasoned just right with heavenly jalapeno gravy. This is possibly the best meal on the planet, of course you can't eat this every day but as a treat it's the best. French fries, baked squash and oven fresh rolls rounded out a perfect roadside meal.

Exquisite needs another mention in a world of servers that are okay, she had that light every time she smiled. She was also really good at her job. Those two things are the difference between a nice meal and a great dining experience.... You might even say Exquisite!!

My chicken was good, my fried okra was good my baked squash was good, brown gravy was good. Everything is good. The iced peach tea was a little sweet but tolerable.
Pricing was good.
Service was good. I didnt need to wait for very long.
Their bread is good too.

I had the Backend Tilapia and it was well done ✔ My other family members also enjoyed their food.

Our server was great, she kept our waters flowing and she was very attentive. Although she was the only experienced server there, she kept things going. The only other server there had just completed her training.

The restroom was somewhat clean but could use some deodorizer. Otherwise, it was a good place with good service.

I hadn't been in awhile. I received a anniversary email, buy 1 entrée get 1 free. I had the grilled shrimp on a bed of rice with 2 sides. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the broccoli cheddar casserole was so tasty. We had dr. Pepper cake after, it was a first for me. I really enjoyed it!

Heavyn was my waitress and she was amazing with coming and filling my drinks and making sure I was ok. Great personality and atmosphere def ask for her! She’s Amazing.

I have been to this location several times and let me tell you that Mrs. ROBIN is the best!! She is sooo friendly and helpful!! She even gave me sum of her tip money to pin on me for my birthday!!! I live in Corsicana but will drive the extra miles just to see ROBIN…

Shannon was me & my friend server. She was very helpful by helping us with the food menu & drink menu. I love her personality.

Our server was on point and extremely attentive. Atmosphere was cozy. Sweet tea was perfect. On to the entree, OH MY GOD it was so good. I ordered the 10oz ribeye with garlic shrimp and broccoli, and even though my steak was overcooked it was still delicious. My favorite surprise was the bread and butter that came out first:) YUM! When in Ennis I will be returning.

On the 17th a coworker and I went to the Cotton Patch restaurant in Ennis Tex. We were greeted and seated quickly. As soon as we were seated we were greeted by our waitress, Shannon C. She was sooooo nice, friendly and understanding. We were pretty hungry and I ordered the catfish and my coworker ordered a steak. Our food was delicious. Shannon was so incredible and offered us drinks to go but we were working and already had drinks with us. My only problem is that I live too far away to come back here every day to eat and have Shannon wait on me.
Shannon, thank you soooo much. We travel a lot and do not often find great people to help us with our meals.
I will start going to Cotton Patch restaurants more often when I can.

Service was great! We had the chicken and dumpling as well as the chicken tenders. Everything tasted great and was hot and fresh! The buttercake we amazing if not a bit hot (temp) but once it cooled down it hit the spot!

Love this place. Food is consistently good. Chicken fried chicken is excellent, especially with Jalapeno gravy.
Wait staff are excellent.

Maria is the best server ever! She always recommends the best appetizers, entrees & drinks. She is very attentive to our needs during our visits.

Great stop! The server was kind and remembered how we ordered each item. She kept the drinks filled!

We visited the Ennis Cotton Patch last night for dinner. We enjoyed our visit very much. Our meals (flounder, chicken strips & chicken fried chicken) were all delicious. Our server, Mia, took great care of us. They were fairly busy, but seemed to have plenty of servers to cover. Such a huge positive difference from our previous visit a good while ago. Management is doing a excellent job at this location now.
(One note for mgmt is....the lights weren't on outside & this made navigating the stairs & walkways a little sketchy.)

Home cooking that makes your heart feel good. Wonderful servers with smiles and very attentive. The Dr Pepper cake was out of this world.

The food , service and the over all cleanliness of the place was great 😃👍!
