I just found this place on my recent day trip to Bellevue, lovely location, it was right next to a parking garage and a little tricky to find, but then we saw the line out the door and knew we found the right place!

Staff was helpful in choosing the right dessert/drink off of their menu. I got the iced matcha latte and my husband got their matcha soft serve. Ordered to-go because the place was Packed!!

We both loved what we ordered and would 100% come back for more😋 The quality and origin of their matcha is top notch and you can taste it in their products. Very satisfied !🍵

My review is strictly for matcha soft serves. In my opinion they were great - the best I had in the Pudget Sound Area. I definitely had better ones in San Francisco's China town though.

Black sesame mochi parfait. Oh how I will dream of you when I get back to Chicago. All parts of this parfait was amazing. From the Lucious black sesame ice cream, to the soft and delectable black sesame pudding. Each spoonful would bring new textures of crunchy corn flakes, sweet vanilla soft serve and chewy pudding or mochi. The sesame bean paste was so ridiculously good. The sweetness was on point as well. My teeth did not hurt from too much sweetness.
I will miss this as we have nothing as glorious in Chicago.

My sister has been here before, and knowing how I love matcha, she decided to take me here. I have been warned that this place can get pretty long lines, and free street parking is very limited (there is a paid parking garage right next door). The free parking also has a 2 hour time limit except on Sundays and holidays. We got there a few minutes after they opened on Sunday, so no worrying about lines or parking for us. The staff were friendly, quick, and efficient.

The inside is very clean, open, and minimalist. The large windows let in a lot of light. There are a few small tables in the very front and the very back, and bar-like seating with high chairs in the middle and along the windows. They have a few electrical outlets around the seating area and they offer free wifi (password on little stands on the tables).

If dining in, they give you a number on a stand for your order and a staff member delivers your food, drink, and utensils to your table on a tray(s). You clean up your table yourself, and there is a busing station you bring your used trays, dishes, and utensils. There are bins in drawers to put the dishes and utensils, and the tray goes on top of the counter. The station also has free water in paper cups, napkins, sugar, stir sticks, and plastic takeaway containers and utensils.

There is one unisex bathroom in the back by the busing station. It is clean and relatively dry with a fold out baby station.

All of the food we got was very good. The matcha ice cream was delicious and sweet. I was excited to try the hojicha ice cream, which is basically roasted matcha. It was very tea like, and you could really taste the roasted part. It wasn't bitter at all; a bit sweet, but I think the matcha tasted sweeter. The black sesame ice cream had a surprisingly strong black sesame flavor, and I can see why the black sesame pints are usually sold out. Note the black sesame pints are more likely to be available at the Seattle location. I recommend ordering it online.

The Matcha Mochi Parfait is particularly recommended by my sister. The mochi are chewy and a good texture, and the red bean paste is also good. The matcha jelly doesn't have much taste, but the whole parfait is delicious.

The croissants were very flakey but not buttery, which was a pleasant surprise. Usually croissants are buttery but not flakey, which is fine, but I like Nana's croissants better. The black sesame cream and matcha cream inside the croissants are very yummy and not too sweet. The Matcha Red Bean Roll was good. The Yuzu Cheesecake was very citrusy.

Overall, would definitely come again.

This place is the spot for some wide range of matcha products. They have a great assortment of pastries and well as drinks. It's hard just to choose one thing, so we had to pick a few items and more to try out. The service was extremely nice and friendly. The interior is also very welcoming. I really enjoyed the matcha and black sesame croissants. They had filings inside. The matcha stick with vanilla softserve was also excellent, as well as the black sesame ice cream. I didn't think there was one bad item here.

Nana’s Green Tea has excellent matcha desserts that have the right amount of matcha! We ordered the matcha soft serve and it was super delicious. They let you choose whether you want a cone, cup, or cup with a cone on top, which I think is really great! It is very busy, so I recommend ordering online (they’ll wait for you to get there for pickup so the ice cream won’t melt), since the line is quite long. The design of the interior is very modern, but the space inside is a little small. I would recommend this place!

Nana’s green tea is the perfect spot if you’re looking for a treat that’s not too sweet. Everything I’ve had here has been good including their black sesame ice cream and parfait. This specific time I got a vanilla matcha swirl soft serve with red bean and mochi which was very tasty. The mochi is more of a texture thing - it doesn’t really have any flavor on its own. The red bean however adds a nice sweet flavor. My husband got hojicha Kyoto style, which was good too.

The parfaits are spot on to the one's I had in Japan. The matcha parfait is my favorite and when Nana's came out with a seasonal parfait I had to try. The roll cake is amazing as well as you can see I tend to get with a parfait. I always share with my husband which makes it more sweeter. I recommend eating next to the window if you can, especially if you like seeing puppies walk by with their owners:)

Tried the matcha latte with no sweetness and it is really great. Also tried the tuna onigiri. Yummy

I had the spam musubi and matcha latte. I had this last January when I came to visit Seattle, i'm already back home in Cali and I am strongly craving their matcha! It was the right sweetness and matcha. Would definitely come back.

Love coming here after shopping or dinner. Great location and good good good soft serve. The drinks are good but the soft serve is the thing to get.

The best Matcha latte I ever had. I ordered the brown sugar matcha latte perfect sweetness and it’s so good. The interesting part here is that you could choose the time of matcha powder you want like earthy taste, sweetness, bitter and natural options. There is even chart for that options. The cake roll was good too. Perfect sweetness not too sweet and it was moist as well.

The matcha latte, matcha chocolate cheesecake and ice cream w/red bean were excellent. I appreciate desserts that aren't overly sweet, and this one hit the spot. The line can get long, but it moves quickly. However, finding a place to sit and savor these scrumptious treats can be a challenge, especially on weekends when the place gets packed quickly.

Matcha here is strong and fresh. All the drinks and snacks are delicious and I was surprised they have more variety than I was expecting. For example, pastries, onigiris, even coffee. This is a nice place to sit down and chill. It gets pretty busy but it's not crowded, but if you are like me you might prefer to visit when it's less people.

Nana’s matcha flavor is delicious! I’ve tried many matcha soft serves in Seattle and the Eastside and Nana’s is my favorite. Strong matcha and not too creamy or icy, good portions and delicious cone. Great service in Seattle and in this new Bellevue location. If you’re waiting for other restaurants like dough zone, just walk over in the same building to Nana’s for dessert appetizer!

End of the night they can run out of all pastries in the dessert cases and the Hojicha flavor

This is located in a nice spot in Bellevue, very nice interior. I believe this is their 2nd location. I do think this location is better than the other one. The pastries here are really good, and their matcha lattes is very good, not so bland, chalky, compared to some other "matcha" places. This place is quite cute.

Layers of good things added up to delicious food drink and fine art! Asian/Chinese tea (bubble tea or sometimes just sweet food drink) has been getting more and more popular in great Seattle area. It started from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and spread to mainland China as well as other countries in Asia. Korean and Philippines are all having branded with a slightly different styles. Now this shop, Nana's Green Tea, goes one step up to the top!

Nana's Green Tea is a gem! The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy interior. I tried their matcha latte and matcha croissant, and they were both exceptional. The latte had a rich, creamy texture, and the croissant was perfectly flaky with a delightful matcha flavor. A must-visit for matcha lovers!
