Shari's Cafe and Pies

The food was good. The staff were very good pleasant and professional. I'd go back for sure.

Amazing service and delicious food. I will most definitely be coming back. My waiter was a sweet older lady that had a brain tumor and she was still so fast and polite I was amazed. 5/5 stars for sure.

Came with my friends and shared some appetizers. Despite being busy, we got our food quickly and it tasted amazing. Cauliflower bites were a fan favorite and so were the chips and dip. Decided to try some pies after and they were amazing. Best pies in town. Best service in town.

I showed up here later at night for a date and waited awhile. They were so kind, offered water and created conversation. Really appreciated their hospitality and kindness during what would’ve otherwise just been awkward and disappointing.

Got delivery from this location and they did not disappoint. They put all the sauces and extra syrup and butters. All the meals were complete and excellent! Thank you to all the crew!

The food was great and tasty although the corn was too salty. Overall, nice ambience and good food.

Staff is super nice and quick service. My waiter was friendly and the food was good. For a chain diner this location actually exceeded my expectations. Good job.⁰

I usually hate going out to restaurants but love Sharis. The food is good and the service is great. Warning though - most are clearly severely understaffed. I have gone into multiple locations and had the staff try to explain and apologize for being the only one there. This was not exclusive to late night hours. If you cannot handle a potential waiting period I would not suggest going, but they usually get it out pretty quick. Just keep in mind that when you go your server could also be everyone elses server, cook, cashier, and has to do doordash orders. Act appropriately knowing they may have to run *everything* and cannot physically provide constant attentive service.

Have been to two different locations. Both times the service has been great and the food hot and delicious.

I was just getting dinner to go for Thanksgiving. I had to work, on call so I couldn't leave town. So a bit of a lonely day. The person who helped me at the front was friendly, warm, and welcoming. In fact every person that worked thier that I saw had a smile and made it a point to say hello if eye contact was made. Its rare in my recent experiences especially within the last two years of his pandemic to see that and have that from a majority of the staff in anywhere I go. The food is always good at Sherry's I got the turkey Thanksgiving meal and the ham Thanksgiving meal meet was on point potatoes just as good gravy and stuffing and vegetables all cooked well. And delicious. This experience just happened to me about 30 minutes ago so all of this is very fresh in my mind. I appreciated their kindness and the quickness of how they got the food out even though they were very busy as you can imagine on a Thanksgiving night. So thank you to the staff and thank you to the cooks you have definitely made a customer for life tonight.

The staff was great. He was completely on top of things anytime we were out of drinks he was right there to refill them. He was good about substitutions that we made. I got a burger with but I got different bread than was supposed to come with it and he handled himself very well. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. Definitely what we going back.

Love this place. So far I've had their patty melt and their cheddar burger. Both of them were very good. The pies are also wonderful and they have a huge selection. The waitress Victoria did an amazing job and is super friendly and very attentive. Would highly recommend this place if your starving or just feel like a slice of pie. Will be going back often.

I love Chinese food but this location just isn't as good as the other locations and chicken fried steak at this one is just not as good as the other Shari's. They have the best rhubarb pie.!!

The pies were amazing and kept me coming back for more. The staff was very friendly and I saw them taking special care of those customers who needed it most. The food we got was well packaged for travel and all hot and fresh! Great place to take the family.

Wife and I had breakfast here. Was one of the best breakfast experiences we've had in the greater Portland area!
The bacon was the perfectly cooked and their toast was thick and well buttered. Wednesdays are free pie day so this will definitely become a weekly excursion ❤

I visited after going to the nearby DEQ station and needed some lunch before running other errands. The hostess was in good humor, seated me promptly. The server was also in good humor, answered my questions and intuited that I'm on a restricted diet. He offered me a gluten free menu. After bringing my meal, he was not intrusive, but walked past me several times to be available should I need anything, which I really appreciated. It was a good dining experience.

Needed au jus for family dinner and every store was closed. They sold us a large amount for a small charge and saved our Xmas dinner :) When I accidentally spilled some on the way home, another Shari's replaced it for free. They were all very nice, even though they were extremely busy.

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I love the staff. We only come in when Julie is working her service is amazing and she’s also super cool and se se is also a great cook when he is here cooking the food is 1000% better than all the other cooks. But I do have to say I recommend you don’t go in and have a server by the name of Emily she is very rude forgets your order and to top it off she tried to keep my $15 change from my order as a tip without asking she is terrible and they need to find someone else.
