MCL Restaurant & Bakery Kettering

We really like MCL. We don't visit often because it's a little on the pricey side for a cafeteria. I had the noon special for $12.29 which was good. Husband had the blue plate special for $14.95 and he liked it with the exception of his potatoes which were cold and butter wouldn't melt on them. He also had coconut cream pie which is exceptional. Drinks are a little high. The ladies who take care of your table are friendly, energetic and on the ball!!

Had a party in their banquet room with food catered for the party. Everyone seemed to really like the food and for a party you have to automatically pay for 25 people and it was a lot of food. All guest ate and then even took leftovers home. The waitress or server was amazing and she was very tentative to us the whole time.

I love I will continue to eat there you must try this place

Catfish was really good! Thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal (fish, mac, green beans, roll, devil cake) it’s a little pricey but worth it

After my uncle's funeral, my family and friends who attended went to MCL for lunch. I had never been there before. The cafeteria-style way to choose your food was a different, but not unpleasant, experience.
The servers were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was calm.
I didn't notice the prices, but my husband did. He said it was a bit pricey for us, but I think the food was worth it! It was all delicious and the quality seemed to be important to them as well; no wilted lettuce or mushy strawberries in my salad. Selection appeared to have something for everyone: from jello and mac 'n' cheese to catfish and green salads. There were no complaints among the group I sat with!
I would definitely eat there again if someone suggested it. And thank you MCL for accommodating our big group!

I love this place!! I have been there twice now and every time it is DELICIOUS food, EXCELLENT service and VERY GOOD prices!! This is a very CLEAN RESTAURANT AND BATHROOM. THE BEST SERVICE ANYWHERE!! VERY accommodating to those having trouble with walking, carrying etc.

Worth driving from Kentucky to Kettering to eat great food. Very nice servers and wait staff. So glad to see the same nice people each time we go. Harvard beets! Yum

It was alot of good food. I was there for a repast. They were so nice. Loved it.

A delicious experience on my last visit to MCL on FarHills. I had stuff chicken breast with mashed potatoes and gravy with broccoli with cheese sauce and a cinnamon dinner roll and a slice of apple pie. And a sweet tea with lemon!

The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful. The roast pork and stuffing smothered in gravy is great! The iced tea is always good. The portions are big.
Remember to get money for a tip when you pay with a card! I forgot and had to leave change. Boo hiss to me!

This location offers good food in a cafeteria type setting. The staff was pleasant as well. Went right before the lunch rush came in.

Not just for older people. This is a cafeteria style restaurant and their food is GREAT. Lots of main dish options and side options and it all tastes homemade. Definitely don’t skip past the dinner rolls they are buttery and delicious.

Update: we met friends at MCL today and as usual by the time I walked out I was stuffed. There was a lot of food to choose from. I noticed that they had a board with specials posted on it. Excellent food. Very good service. Nice quiet place to dine.

Cafeteria style. Everything that I've eaten has been freshly prepared and tastes great.
Staff is very helpful and the cashier always ask if you need help carrying your tray. ie... lots of elderly eat here.
Prices are ala carte but reasonable.
Serving are plentiful and a wide variety of salads and desserts. Bakery is in a separate area. Always fresh cakes pies and cookies.
