Ono kine grindz is fantastic! Plantation dishes cooked to perfection! The owners David and Guy …and the line chef Reba pour their heart and soul into preparing these authentic Hawaiian dishes! So delicious.

Every week, fresh supplies are flown in from Hawaii to make these authentic dishes!

The shop itself is a beautiful and fun space filled with warmth and joy. So much to look at and all beautiful!

Best Hawaiian food in Wisconsin, a true hidden gem. Although it seems like the secret is starting to get out with Ono Kine Grindz, everyone deserves to try this place because it will make you want to go back as soon as you're done. They have a small amount of tables but this is really meant to be a pick up spot. Call in your order of your authentic Hawaiian meal with a wide variety of options accommodating most dietary restrictions, and enjoy. I will definitely be back my next time in Milwaukee.

The food was delicious! You also get a lot of food for a decent price. The service was wonderful and quick too.

I first tried Hawaiian food when I went to Vegas in the Spring. Loved it. I looked for a local spot and had to try this one. Liked the menu and the fact that you can purchase a wide variety of Hawaiian food products like a grocery store PLUS get items to go since they are also set up like a deli!! I couldn't try just one protein. They put together a plate with 2 proteins and 2 sides and sticky rice. Wow. Every part of the visit. Not familiar with the place at all and everyone working here made it feel like we stopped at a relative's house for a quick lunch and visit! I can't highlight one menu item over another. I can't wait to go back. I'll probably bring a cooler for a few To-Go options! I have to apologize for the pictures... I was so anxious to take bites, I forgot to take a picture first. Just a couple bites missing.

After hearing positive reviews from friends, I decided to pay a visit for lunch with my partner. We enjoyed colorful, fresh, flavorful dishes, tasty desserts, and yummy coffee. The swordfish was exceptional. ALL of the food was exquisite, and the customer service went above and beyond. OKG has a truly unique, lovely ambiance. This spot is a new favorite for sure.

Everything we tried was fantastic. I highly recommend ordering the king dinner if you haven't been before. It was so much fun to try everything. The drinks were great as well. The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend making reservations if you plan to dine in as there is not much seating.

We used Ono Kine Grindz for catering for our wedding and we had such a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food tasting was done at the store and everyone was so helpful and welcoming. It was honestly hard picking just a handful of choices because everything was so tasty! The day of service was great. They arrived early to set things up, helped with the catered buffet, and cleaned up. And we received many compliments from guests about the food! Would highly recommend them.

Welcome to heaven! I love this place so much, I almost don’t want to share it. It’s a smaller place, yet we had our own little room. I don’t even have the words to express how wonderful this place is. The staff there could not be better. Our food was so good. We had the pulled port sliders, a vegetarian stir fry we tofu that tasted like pure deliciousness. Little shop with awesome stuff. So very great. Hi David!!!

The OK Grindz team catered our wedding and did an INCREDIBLE job. Our goal was to have food that tasted great and give a large selection to all our guests, regardless of dietary needs and preferences—and to not blow our wedding budget on food while doing it. Mission accomplished.

We received so many compliments from people who had attended weddings with costly caterers and hotels and said they enjoyed our food more. We're not local and Guy made it so easy to schedule a time that worked for us to come do a tasting, helped us with quantity suggestions and menu suggestions, and connected us with their amazing baker. The quantities were great—just enough to not worry about having enough without having too much leftover. They even let us do homemade desserts alongside the cake and let us provide some ingredients from where my parents live so he could incorporate a taste of home.

Their staff was friendly and helped with setup, takedown, and the spread was beautiful. They even worked with our non-traditional venue. Thanks, Ono Kine Grindz!

Cozy atmosphere. Chef came out and talked to me. I had the char siu chicken, kim chee, purple rice, and macaroni potato salad. Very tasty, and I'll definitely return

We'd never been before so we got the King Kamehameha platter. Loved the Kalbi Ribs, Kalua Pig, Char Shu Chicken, and Portuguese Sausage. The pot stickers with the Chinese mustard sauce were also good. Garlic shrimp and Poke Tuna were alright. And the deserts were ok. The POG was also great. The staff were phenomenal. If we are in the area in the future, definitely will return.

The store is amazing. Awesome selections of real Hawaiian products. 100 dollars later and we are so satisfied! Awesome unique concept of a shop restaurant is a must stop in the Wauautosa

Wonderful food. Good portions. Decent price. Great , friendly service. The restaurant has very cool interesting merchandise and food products from Hawaii so you can make paradise at home as well.

Wow! I'm so glad we found this place. And they were open (a local friend shared that sometimes their business hours are unpredictable). Our hostess/server was so great about explaining everything on the menu and giving popular and personal recommendations. I had the barbecue platter (what she said most first timers order) my friend ordered something more adventurous. Everything was delicious! The crack tea was so good (free refills!) And even the ganach filled pastry puff was excellent. On our way out we did a little shopping of Hawaiian snacks to take home.

Having lived on the islands for years, it was nice to FINALLY find a place that makes traditional Hawaiian food. The food will break your mouth (so good)!

Wow! This place is amazing! From ordering on the phone to picking up the food, everyone was super kind. We ordered the loco moco and the combo plate. Everything was beyond ono! I have not had loco moco with the sausage in the gravy before and it was fantastic. The egg was perfectly cooked and the pork and chicken was on point. Felt like I was transported back to Hawaii. Certainly a must stop if you are in the area. Mahalo!

Omg this place is awesome. We make the 3.5 hour drive from Michigan at least once a month. When living so far away from home (Hawaii) it's awesome to find a place like this. They even made poi for me to eat with my poke and laulau plate.... Also we did stock up on some of the frozen items they sell because husband won't drive me out here when it starts snowing. Roads get too dangerous..

Incredible food, and the cook and owner were extremely personable and friendly. The place was very small, but that only served to help with the feel of a small family house, or get together.
