Vinaka Cafe

This always been a spot to get coffee when i stroll through my home towns. Very nice clean fun and esthetic. Love this place. Books and games to play, has an outside chill area. Coffee is amazing and aroma is so delightful. If ur in the area definitely try this place you wont be disappointed.

Cozy quaint coffee shop in the Carlsbad Village Square. Plenty of good seating arranged well inside and out. Good place for laptop studies inside and nice other tables in small areas. Atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Good fast service and great coffee specials. Plenty of tasty treats to sample in future visits. Recommend.

I've been coming to Vinaka for a couple years now for "cafe days" where I do homework, read, do art, or chat with friends. I've seen them go through a lovely remodeling process that brings so much life to the already adorable cafe. They more recently got various sized mugs for in-house use which is a refreshing break from the constant plastic to-go cups you find elsewhere. Always friendly and lively folks behind the bar helping out too. What prompted me to finally post a review were the two lovely baristas who were so kind and made the most delicious sandwiches and drinks my partner and I have ever enjoyed here. It just reinforced all the reasons I love coming here!
** Seating can sometimes be difficult to find for 2+ people as Vinaka is justifiably popular! Lots of outlets/extension cords and outdoor seating though.

Came here for the first time to work with a friend. I loved that they had a bunch of plugs all over the lobby! My ancient laptop needs a plug every 3 hours so that's a real plus. The vibe is easy going and not too loud as far as coffee shops go. My drink is a vanilla latte with soy milk. It's super yummy! I will definitely come back here and work from home when I need a change of scenery.

25 years in Carlsbad and it positively feels like it. The young adults that work there are welcoming and I love the vibe in this coffee shop. Their jumbo peanut butter cup cookie was yummy and I enjoyed their blended dirty soy chai. I love that they are open late!! Coffee shops close early nowadays.

I have been visiting this place for almost 20 years now on and off. Absolutely the best coffee you ever had and good scones. Create atmosphere good seating indoor an old and decent Wi-Fi to bring your work here.
It’s just a quick walk from the beach and right inside Carlsbad Village

Everybody here is so friendly. I usually just get coffee, which is the best in the area, compared to Starbucks and Better Buzz. But I've done a breakfast bagel sandwich and a couple pastry/dessert items and everything has been great.

Great coffee spot with some indoor and outdoor seating. Parking in this part of town is always difficult. I always park on the street a few blocks away. Community restroom that requires a four digit code from the staff

Best atmosphere of any coffee shop in Carlsbad. It is actually cozy inside, and the music never too loud. It is not a big corporation chain like the other over priced competitors. Also best chai tea lattes and a mean fruit tart 😍

Cozy atmosphere with lots of seating options indoor/ outdoor. Loved the new bohemian decor makeover. The kids area is a nice touch. Best latte in town.

Quaint and cozy cafe in the middle of Carlsbad village plaza! I highly recommended their selection of beverage menu and specialty treats. Evening well spent.

I love this place so much! —a real local coffeehouse with great food & coffee, friendly staff and all around good vibes. I’d like to gatekeep but seriously there are lots of places that sell coffee but few that offer any level of authenticity & connection. 5+ stars and #buylocal

This cafe/coffee shop has been a staple in Carlsbad for as long as I can remember...Never have I ever had a bad experience here and there are plenty of outlets if you need to get some work done. They also have a great selection of teas and ice cream if you're in the mood. Located right in the village, I highly recommend anyone to visit, whether you are a local or a visitor!

I kick myself in the butt every time I go to a different coffee shop. This place has great prices, a fantastic atmosphere and staff. I used to walk from work to get a coffee and breakfast sandwich on my lunch break and by the time I got there it was always ready to go. Best lattes in Carlsbad!

This place is pretty cool. They have gluten free bread for sandwiches and s little play area for toddlers.

Best coffee in town but the wait staff EVER. The sweetest, kindest most welcoming people. A carlsbad treasure for sure.

Love this place! Not only is their coffee so yummy but it’s priced right and I love spending the afternoon in their business. Sooo much better than any Starbucks!

My favorite drink is their chai tea latte. They have several interesting flavor syrups that can be added to tea or coffee. Internet access is available. It has a beachy cozy vibe.
