This cafe decor is really nice. The seatings are very cute. The staff was very nice. Just the right atmosphere for breakfast/brunch in pasadena. I think the pastries are great. They’re large and delicious. The breakfast plate is good, especially the scramble eggs. I heard their bagels are good but I’m not a big fan of bagels so I didn’t try.

the decor and coffee tables are such a unique touch to the business, it truly lives up to its name as the cafe holds so many items that we don't see much of anymore (grandfather clock, vintage vinyl player)

we tried the classic breakfast ($17) and were so impressed by how fresh the bacon not only tasted but how perfectly cooked it was🥓

my lovely friend got the pistachio bagel with cream cheese and jam of the day (strawberry). She stated it was the perfect mix of getting both savory and sweet! Pistachios were toasted to perfection and added a great nutty taste.

The matcha rose latte is an absolute must, it's not an overpowering match taste to not overwhelm you.

They have a selection of backed goods everyday and have some of the most soothing music, making it truly a perfect place to do work, or just hang out if you need a break from reality <3

Such a cute and cozy place to sit and enjoy a lovely latte and bagel! The staff was super friendly and kind and make the place feel very homey. They have alternative milks and their bagel topping portions are very generous. I particularly enjoyed how fragrant the rose latte was! 🌹

Got here before they opened and they were still kind enough to let me in! I’ve been living in Pasadena for almost 10 years and can say this is my new coffee shop. :)

My wife and I came to try this place for their soft opening today. This cozy cafe has a cool vibe; complete with comfortable mid-century modern furniture, antique decor, soulful jazzy tunes, and a small-bites menu of fresh eats with a healthy spin on the classic brunch. We paired the prosciutto bagel and the French toast with the dark chocolate and matcha lattes. We also ordered a chocolate chip cookie "for later." The dill herbs and cucumber on the bagel sandwich was so refreshing. The matcha late, which we overhead is made with tea from Japan, was full in flavor and not too milk-forward, as with most American coffee shops. They also have several sweetness level options, though I did not personally find 100% sweetness level to be unfavorably sweet. I have been making my way through the list of the top coffee shops by state and Nostalgic definitely levels up with some of the best shops I've visited.

The atmosphere and decor are amazing! It takes you back in time which makes for an interesting experience.

On top of that I always get my usual at every coffee shop which is a simple quad shot over ice and this place nailed it!

Came in Memorial Day weekend, so it was quiet. Perfect place to sit comfortably and enjoy an amazing coffee. Staff was super friendly, peaceful tunes playing at the perfect volume in the background. Will visit again. The Pasadea Rose Au Lait was a prefect latte for the morning. Flavors I've never had before. Thank you.

Great cafe in a quieter corner of Old Town. Interior is lovely and the drink menu is a good mix of classics and interesting drinks. Definitely worth the visit!

Wow, a little hidden gem of a Cafe. Was wondering around for breakfast and walked into heaven bliss. Ikura bagel with Iced Brewed Coffee was all it took to start this day.

Relaxing atmosphere! Everything was so delicious! We tried the rose latte, salad, salmon bagel, and guava strudel and all the flavors were in point! This cafe is a must try. The owner is super sweet as well.
