Cloud Forest Cafe

I go here all the time, and I always take my out of town friends as well. They have so many options to choose from and they even have a designated dining area separated from an area where you can study. They also have outdoor seating! The only thing is it’s a bit pricy besides the normal cafe drinks, so I suggest going here if you are planning on having a sit down meal or brunch with friends. Also! They are closed on Mondays:)

Great service and delicious food. A little pricey relative to the portions, but to be expected in a college town. Food was fresh and atmosphere was chill.

The food, coffee and service are always excellent quality here. It is great to still have family owned small businesses! This family works so hard to bring a quality product. The bread is fresh everyday. The owner always has a smile on his face. They have done a great job refreshing the decor. The music playing is always great. They have a laptop free zone which is great. I highly recommend this place.

The venue here is very nice, it has excellent outdoor seating and once covid is gone the inside seating seems very nice too! Their specialty coffees (lattes, etc) are very well made, the barista really takes his time to make them excellent. The food is also quite good, very moist scones and the panninis are simple and delicious. I highly recommend the Cloud Forest Cafe in Davis.

Very nice aesthetics inside the cafe and great outdoor seating as well! I highly recommend their Cloud Forest panini- I’d say this is the best panini I’ve had in Davis so far. Staff is always super friendly, and if I want to go to a cafe I know won’t miss on the food quality, this is the one I choose.

Delicious food in a pleasant setting with outdoor seating. The smoothies, coffee, and panini are great. The service is extremely warm and welcoming. TH (the owner?) is attentive and helpful.
Order inside at the counter and usually pick up your food. If it's not busy, they'll bring it to you.

Way better than Panera!!! Always love the Cache Creek Caliente Paninni! They made a Green Tea Afogato and it is really good!!!! Must try! This place has a lot to offer and it's great atmosphere if you are a coffee affecionado

Really tasty mocha ice blended drink. They were able to make it decaf which makes me super happy. The sandwich was nice and the potato salad tasted like horseradish which was fun. The person who rung me up was super duper nice and talked to me and helped me choose the correct bread for the panini and convinced me to eat outside for a bit which was great because of the nice weather. I’ll definitely come back because of how nice he was ❤

Infectiously friendly gentleman at the counter today. My green tea was brewed well, and my veggie sandwich was very yummy. I'll be coming back for the customer service!!

Drawn in by the name, and wasn't disappointed. Great music playing, friendly barista, good prices, and enough caffeine to prompt me to actually write a review (and hopefully get my work done!)

One of the most beautiful coffee places in the area. It has a lot of charm and character. The food and the drinks are excellent. The staff are friendly. What a hidden gem in Davis. If you are in the area, you need to try it out. They serve a variety of drinks and they are so good. The panini sandwiches are scrumptious. My all time favorite place for coffee/ juice and sandwiches. I have not been disappointed. Highly recommended!
