Spring Garden Cafe

This is an awesome cafe that you must visit. The food is just, good and fresh. They have pies and a soup of the day. The staff are locals and everyone in town knows about this place (which is how I found it). Enjoy. I did. For two days. The left overs were fantastic cold! Very fresh.

Loved our experience here! Great and fast service. The menu is huge and the portions are so generous! The prices were great and we enjoyed our food! If you order anything with gravy, be aware they love to put a lot of gravy on things. Other than that it was wonderful! Will be back.

The service here is fantastic and the food was delicious! I found the restaurant to be a little cramped for my wheelchair, but the staff were helpful and accommodating. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on the accessibility of that, but otherwise it is quite accessible.

My wife and I had an amazing time at breakfast this morning. My server was great with a nice personality. My wife and I really enjoyed our food it came out hot and fast. Thank you

We had salads and a crazy good strawberry shortcake dessert. Staff was friendly and the prices were great.

Great prices and really good food. Very friendly staff. We really enjoyed the friendly bantering amongst the staff and locals. My husband loves catfish and he said it was one of the best fried catfish he had ever had. His exact words were They F---ing Nailed the batter! 🤣

My husband and I had a very bad weekend. Everything we planned was rained out or just plain terrible. Then we found the Spring Garden Cafe and we were VERY happy we did! The Cafe didn't look like much on the outside but inside was clean and roomy, the staff was friendly and attentive. And the food was DELICIOUS. We dine out for breakfast a lot and this was the best, hands down. Prices were good too. We want to go back as soon as we can.

We come here every time we visit Nebraska. Great little place to get breakfast.

Old fashioned diner with great prices. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had breakfast sandwiches which were huge and only $5.99. Would definitely come back.

Are you staying at Lied Lodge and you are looking for a breakfast place? Lunch place? Supper place? Snack? Doesn't matter. You need to come here. Order whatever, we had a party of 9 that all ordered different stuff. Everything was slamin'. 9 faces were melted and 9 bellys left happy for a day of adventure and discovery. Melted faces?!? Yup. So good it was like that scene from Indiana Jones and Lost Ark. Not sure how that fat cabletv guy with frosted tips hasn't found this place yet, but I am sure someday he will. If he doesn't then forget him, he's just a fat cabeltv guy. This place is special.

We had a fabulous lunch yesterday here! The Chicken Dumpling soup was just like my mom used to make, and so tasty, we got two orders to go to enjoy later. The Corned Beef melt was so flavorful and the french fries were perfectly crisp on the outside while remaining soft on the inside. The service was also great and the prices reasonable and a good value! We'll be back!

Decided to try this place for the first time.

Originally thought this would be just another over priced, hole in the wall diner. I could not have been more wrong.

The food was cooked well and the portion sizes were very good and at reasonable price points. The place looks clean for a diner and I like the visible kitchen concept.

We were very pleased with the food and service and will say that this place is definitly worth the 30 minute drive for us to get here compared to what is offered in our local town.

The waitress was amazing. I can't recall her name but my kids would politely ask her for a refill of chocolate milk. It's a very down at home type of feeling and that's the best!
