El Portal Mexican Restaurant

This place was absolutely amazing. Seriously, who would've thought you could get great Mexican in Nebraska? I did though, and I have no regrets. Staff was friendly and the food was great. Can't really complain.

I was blown away by El Portal. The ambiance and decor are amazing, and the food is incredible. The service was fast and friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I had the chicken burrito with rice and beans, and it was delicious. My friend had the beef enchiladas, and they were also very good. We both finished our meals feeling satisfied and satisfied. We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. I highly recommend El Portal. It's a hidden gem!

Traveling by 18 wheeler. The service was prompt and inviting. Great atmosphere. The street tacos were good, my husband had the triple fajitas. I enjoyed the salsa, guacamole and we drank horchata. We would definitely come back!

Good quality as with all their other stores. Good price lunch menu. Food served quickly and hot and delicious. I make this one of my primary lunch stops when I'm in town.

I got a burrito, it was fantastic. The portion was generous and I got full eating it but I was still sad when I finished it. Spend the extra $1 and get it covered in the cheese sauce!

Great service and great food. Little wait to sit down. Food is out within minutes of order being placed. I usually get the fajitas for two. More than enough food. Usually some leftover to go home with. Highly recommend.

Had a group of 17, the service was excellent, and the food was hot and served quickly. Get the cheese dip!

We went for dinner and ordered the Ceviche, a medium Guacamole and a single Crab Enchilada, the food was excellent, the service was also excellent, quick and friendly, we had no waiting for a table at 6pm. on a Tuesday.
We started out with the housemade chips and salsa, which was unexpectedly tasty and different from most Mexican restaurants! We even ordered Chardonnay (I know, strange while eating Mexican food!) but, it was good and a very generous pour for only $3.50! Overall, the prices are very reasonable and we will definitely return.
I don't think reservations are necessary and this would be a great place for family and groups.

Their food is absolutely delicious and the staff is absolutely friendly I have nothing bad about this restaurant to say it was clean service was good however it needs to open up a restaurant in Omaha Nebraska ❤

El Portal reliably has large portions with fresh ingredients, and well balanced plates at a low price. They can get you in and out over lunch, or be a space for a family to eat dinner together. 10/10.

I had the taco salad for lunch. So good and so cute!! They serve it in a giant taco shell. Service was phenomenal!! Horchata was to die for. Now, if they only had Pepsi.

We were hosting a big family party. I placed an order for pick-up that day. The food was ready on time and hot, staff helpful loading in my car. Great service experience and our family enjoyed the food.

My first time eating there and the steak fajitas were light, fresh & hot. I would like to explore more foods on the menu. Even though I am not a big Mexican food eater.

It was busy, and they were short-staffed, but the staff worked hard to keep up. They were great! The food was fast and tasted amazing.
Our waiter did great and, despite being busy with a lot of tables, he still made sure we had everything. We will be back when we are back in town again.

The food was outstanding. The best Mexican I've ever eaten.
