we were amazed when me, my mom, and sister came in the other day. it was memorial day so not only were we in from out of town we weren’t sure of the hours either so i called and one of the owners aaron said as long as we were there within the hour he’d be there. the little interior is so cute and comfy, if we didn’t have to go i could’ve stayed there a day. aaron and my mom started talking (both being small business owners) while i talked to his wife jen about some of her favorite drinks. my mom mentioned that i love exploring coffee shops and aaron got excited and started talking to me about the different beans he roasted and even invited into the back to watch the roasting process! we staying an hour past closing talking to the two owners and their daughter about their lives and business. it was incredibly refreshing being from a larger city. my mom ordered a dirty chai (it was soooo good) i got an iced latte with cinnamon bun syrup, and my sister got the tea. it was all so good! we’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in town!

Loved this stop while passing through Cadillac. Awesome cortado, friendly and welcoming, beautiful space, what a treat to have fresh roasted coffee right there downtown.

Also purchased beans (I went with Owl Eye Opaque by recommendation when I said we love dark roasts) and it is AMAZING. Don’t forget to grab a bag while you’re in.

Great coffee roasters! I only drink their coffee at home and pop into their shop once in a while. I love that they let a bible study meet here and the inside is so well done and bright. AJ & Jin have done a great job growing their coffee business!

Wow, I had a great cup of coffee here during my visit to Cadillac - delicious! Husband liked his espresso too (and this is a guy who used to live in Italy). Friendly owner & employees too…thank you for your hospitality, Owl Eye Coffee!

I've passed by the sign several times thinking it was an eye glass place! Someone told me it was a coffee shop with roasted beans! Glad I stopped in today.

They were super helpful here! My husband and I are just starting out in the world of making espresso and wanting to try different types of beans to see what we like. I explained all this and they had a lot to offer and let me sample some things. They recommended a blend that I am super excited to try and it was very affordable. They also gave me a free smaller bag of coffee beans to try since I wasn't super local. We will definitely be back.

Owl Eye Coffee Roasters is an amazing coffee shop in the Cadillac area. My husband enjoyed their Guji pourover and I enjoyed an iced cortado (half caf). Jin and Aaron are excellent hosts! Not only was their coffee outstanding, their shop provided an incredible atmosphere to celebrate my mom’s birthday. This would be an awesome place to study. The shop is nicely decorated and truly an awesome place to find refuge. We really enjoyed talking to Jin and Aaron and hearing their story. We give this shop 5/5 for the quality of their coffee, 5/5 for their atmosphere and 5/5 for their hospitality. If you are driving through Cadillac you have to check this place out!

I was driving back from Traverse City to Lansing and wanted an americano and they popped up so I stopped by. The Americano was delicious, and the owners came up to chat about coffee with me which was a great touch. Definitely recommend if you want some quality coffee in the Cadillac area.

Before I start with my review, I do want to say that I am not a big tea drinker nor a coffee drinker. I occasionally like to get iced teas and coffee but if I'm being honest, never really liked drinks from coffee places.
I've lived in Cadillac almost my entire life, and I have to say I'm a big fan of small local owned businesses as I personally believe it's a highlight of living in this town.
We have had Cafes in this town that have came and gone, and I'll admit I was never a huge fan. But this establishment has something special. I have been coming here once a week for three weeks now, and I've been wanting to write a review just didn't know what to say. I mean, what is there to say? This place is amazing! But anyways on to the review. Upon walking into this place, you're welcomed with a bright, warm, and calming atmosphere that definitely brings in the Coffee love vibes 🙂 it's small as a local establishment should be, but there's enough room for company that's for sure. Now for the drinks.. we'll, as I said before I'm not a coffee or tea drinker (so if I miss pronounce things, please don't hurt me 😅) everytime I've gone here, I've had 0 clue what to get. I will say I prefer tea over coffee so I have been gravitated towards those drinks than coffee brewed. I'm also an iced guy, love my drinks to be cold. Anyways, I've always asked the baristas for recommendations and everytime they have been so polite and patient, words cannot describe how thankful I am. I understand you know customer service is an expectation but.. it doesn't feel like it's your standard customer service with them. There warm hospitality feels absolutely special, you can feel that they care about their customers and their opinions about their drinks, their establishment, everything. The individuals that work here are hard working and caring souls, it's special. You won't find better service anywhere I promise you that. They have always been so friendly and open to conversation as well! They take care into engaging with their customers, once again it all makes you feel more welcomed.

Okay... time for the drinks...

The first time I came here, I had gotten an iced Majeste Chia Tea Late ( hoping I spelled that correctly) and I was absolutely in love! It was perfect, the tea had a rich fresh brewed taste that definitely stimulated all taste buds. The second week, I got the London Fog which appearance wise in itself definitely spoke for the name! It was stunning and definitely appealing! Tasted like fruit loops in a sense, but I do mean that in a good way! It was incredible! Today, I'm not really sure of the name, because I already forgot, but it was honestly my favorite out of the three. The drink was a iced green tea with milk, coconut flavoring, lavender, and raspberry. This was hands down the best cold drink I have ever had! This place just doesn't dissapoint in any areas! I truly do mean that! I highly recommend to give the staff and the team here a chance, and I think you will find one of if not the best establishment in Northern Michigan. As someone that's grown up here in this area, I really appreciate what Owl eye has brought to our community. I'll definitely return, and cannot wait to bring clients in for meetings and gatherings! As I say everytime I leave, I will be coming back 🙂

What a wonderful, knowledgeable staff with great coffee and conversation. Our simple roadside stop turned into a conversation about types of preferred coffee and they just happened to have my wife's favorite bean type. We walked out sampling as well as excited to try a few different types of beans back home. Now we know where to order some good beans.

Stopped in for a coffee on our way back from Traverse City. It’s so refreshing to walk into a space that takes you by surprise for a small town like Cadillac. The space is clean, modern and by far the best prices we’ve seen for such high quality coffee. Everything is roasted in house, and you can tell by the friendly staff they care about what they do. If we are ever in the area again, this will be our first stop.

Absolutely amazing coffee and even more amazing people! My family and I were passing through Cadillac and stopped at this gem of a place! We were so welcomed and the owner and their entire family took time to chat with us about where we were from (India) and their related experiences. Their capuchino and caramel macchiato were outstanding and they are very well versed in the art of coffee! Such a refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill chains dishing out coffee for the masses - this experience stood out because of the human connection over a cup of joe!

Great atmosphere, great people. Aaron recommended cascara tea - I was skeptical since it's steeped shells of the coffee bean, but it was more like lemonade/tea and was delicious! He didn't steer me wrong. It was delicious!

Brilliant! A very worth while stop. The owner is knowledgeable and it’s evident that he is passionate about what he does. They actually had a couple of varieties of pea berry which can be difficult to find.
The dirty chai was incredibly smooth and not too sweet. We highly recommend! 😁
