Starbucks

We did a quick drive through while traveling from NC to MD and afterwards we were upset we didn't tip the team more (yes even on a drive through order). Genuinely one of the most wonderful customer service experience we have had in a fast paced interaction. The whole team seems great but the worker with rainbow hair (I wanna say name was Katie? Sorry if wrong lol) was especially helpful with specific follow up questions for custom drink orders that ensured we got exactly what we wanted. After traveling with a yippy puppy for three hours this type of human interaction was incredibly uplifting. The team nailed our order as well. We'll definitely be making the trip down that way again and will be sure to stop by this specific Starbucks.

I enjoy Starbucks every morning. I love their coffee but overall the people that work the morning shift are amazing. Every morning they are beautiful lively people!! Laura and Aleaha make my morning. Thanks guys all of you are the best 😘😘

They were slammed and only had three employees working but managed to keep the line moving and had great attitudes the whole time.

This store by far is my favorite! Every employee is so kind, and always has a smile on their face. My coffee is consistent in flavor, and I never have to wait long. Love my Salem Starbucks ❤

I stopped at this Starbucks because it was between a lengthy meeting and home. My visit was on a Sunday afternoon and there was less business than expected. My order - Grande skinny flavored latte - was promptly taken and quickly served. The two associates serving me were prompt and friendly. The store and all surfaces appeared immaculate! I very much like Starbucks brand coffee, and every drink is delicious. My only concern is the high prices charged so I do not treat myself often. I do not indulge in Starbucks snacks because of expense and they never look appetizing to me. Access from the busy main road was easy and parking spaces plentiful. Handicap accessible parking was up close and well marked. Store access was also easy for customers requiring assistive mobility devices. This visit was a pleasant quick in and quick out, but I will make further after meeting visits.

I don’t like coffee, but I went with my brother for him to get one. We went through the drive through, and the girl taking our order sounded so sweet and happy!! We drove around and a girl named Lexi/Alexis with red highlight looking hair gave us our drink and she was just as sweet!! Our Starbucks seems to have a great team. Also- my brother let me try his coffee drink, and it actually wasn’t bad!! I’m very impressed :))

We were traveling to Charlottesville yesterday from Big Stone Gap, VA (we were about 4½ hrs away from home in Salem) & my GPS took us to this particular Starbucks. I don't know the Barista's name that took our order at the drive-thru, but she was super nice & made it a great experience, especially with it being 6:30ish in the morning. We'd been on the road since 2am & it's nice to encounter nice people. My sister loved her drink (I don't drink coffees or anything, so I'm not sure what it was, lol). We will definitely be back next trip!

Genesis is the best employee you’ll encounter at a Starbucks. I’ve got every day almost for the last two years. I know, crazy, but she really tops all baristas. Doesn’t even know my name but really went out of her way to make it a good experience.

Stopped by after work and the drive thru was backed up so I ran in, the staff was interacting, singing and very upbeat while making drinks. The girl accidentally made my drink wrong, fixed it before even giving it to me, was super friendly! However, the employee taking the orders really killed the mood of the place, rolled his eyes at me, and really just seemed like every person that ordered with him was a major inconvenience. Just chalking it up as a bad day. Drink was awesome and my son is going to go crazy when he sees this reindeer cake pop!

I don't normally go to Starbucks but, had received a gift card so, I went by before work one day and picked up a couple of items for my coworker and myself. It seemed to be a pretty long wait to get 2 drinks to go. It seemed like the drive thru was getting the most attention.

I was served this morning by Shana Clineclinst at the main st location in Salem, VA. She was polite and had absolutely fantastic manners. What a great customer service experience! You don't see that very often these days so when I do come across someone who really impresses me, I write them a great review ☺.

we went through the drive thru, i believe her name was Ashton (blue hair and rainbow name tag) she was extremely nice, helpful and knowledgeable. absolutely adored her service!

I loved my pumpkin latte but the employees were so much fun and professional to interact with. I used the drive through and not doing well, depressed. But when I left I was smiling from ear to ear. Thank you.

These guys give a reason to look forward to coming home, y’all are always on point! I travel to multiple states for family business and work and your establishment is easily one of the top 3. Thank you for helping make the day be more enjoyable as should be a goal of all businesses. And a double thanks for always going above and beyond!

Super service and friendly staff! I continue to swing by this Starbucks because of the super service; staff always welcomes customers, and if you stay for any length of time - I always save time to sit and enjoy coffee and coffee cake - staff will continue to chat with you and ALWAYS smile. I guess you can tell I stop there because of the staff!!

My custom coffees are always great & the staff are up beat and polite ppl! Sometimes it does take a little longer to get orders due to low staff( not their fault) & it does stay busy since its so good & addictive!

Went in mid day and requested a half caff. The barista was cool, told me my options and how long it would take. I noticed her helping some older folks by bringing their order to directly to their table. Nice.
