Kinza Sushi and Asian Izakaya

My daughter and I are on a road trip, and we discovered this little gem of a restaurant next to the hotel we were staying at. We were greeted by very sweet and gracious ladies. It was busy, but we were seated rather quickly. One of the waitresses came in and made small talk while she took our order, and we became aware that she spoke Thai and I was from Thailand. She made us feel super welcomed and extended a hospitality that was above what I expected at any restaurant. The sushi rolls were excellent, so much so that we even came back the next night for dinner. Our favorite sushi is the Cucumber Wrap, so refreshing and delicious!

My daughter commented that this is her favorite sushi restaurant, and we eat a lot of sushi in the Bay Area. On our next trip back to SoCal, we are definitely coming back again.

👩🏻‍🦳The food we ordered was nothing to rave about. My Udon soup had no flavor until I added a bit of soy sauce. The Ele roll was well i couldn't taste any of the Ele in the sushi roll🤷🏼‍♀

This is one of the best Japanese restaurants I have experienced. The staff is very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious and the laid back atmosphere inside or the shaded patio on the outside makes Kinza a place for every occasion. This time we celebrated a birthday and it was a great choice

Absolutely some of the best sushi I have eaten. There was so much variety it was a bit overwhelming I must admit but it was definitely worth all the decision making. Our group had 8 different rolls and it was a great experience would definitely recommend.

Fantastic fresh fish at a reasonable price, it's cool being able to sit at the sushi bar and watch them make it, as well as being able to chat with the chefs and ask for their recommendation. I do not however recommend bringing any picky eaters or indecisive people here; the menu is huge.

This is the vibe! We flew from Seattle to celebrate my sister's birthday in LA and ended the night here was worth it! The food was excellent, the staff was very entertaining, everyone was the vibe! Thank you for being part of our memories!

Even while totally busy on a Wednesday night, this restaurant was such a pleasurable solo dining experience. Top notch hospitality with a rotating sushi menu.

I could not have been happier to have found it nestled around many food chains that surrounded my hotel. 10/10 would come back!

First off, the staff here are all super friendly and build a repetoire with alot of the regular customers here. Now for the food, this is definitely excellent sushi. What I found is with the sushi, they don't just serve it plain, they often serve with with some sort of extra spice and dressing/sauce. This makes a world of difference than other places which simply just give you the basic fish on rice. Adds alot more flavor while still retaining the fish flavor as well. Their rolls are equally flavorful and well made. Excellent sushi spot overall.

Our go-to for Sushi here in Valencia. There is a lot in the menu to choose from. The staff is friendly and, more importantly, the owner. Alex is the most approachable and friendliest person ever. They are always super busy during peak hours.

Came here for lunch and it was super busy. They have an upstairs but they don’t open it until dinner…which kinda sucks. They have plenty of outdoor tables as well, but the weather wasn’t great the day we went. Inside it was cramped and you have to ask people to get up if you need to leave or use the restroom. The food made up for it, though! I ordered the Lady in Red roll, saba (mackerel), and Spanish mackerel. I also ordered the cucumber salad. My sweetie ordered a rainbow roll, garlic edamame, salmon belly, and I think otoro as well. I really enjoyed everything. The Lady in Red was the best roll I’ve had in a while. The mackerel was incredible! Especially the Spanish mackerel. That was a real treat and I’ll be looking out for it from now on. My sweetheart enjoyed his food as well. We don’t drink but we noticed information for their designated driver program at the table, which I thought was very nice, and speaks volumes on the kind of person who owns this place. The sushi chefs were very talented and it was nice seeing the manner in which they interacted with the customers. Overall good food, good people, and good vibes.

Highly recommend eating here. The staff is always super friendly. Service is prompt and professional. The food is terrific. I've been to several sushi bars/restaurants (even in Tokyo) and they don't come close to Kinza Sushi. Was introduced to this place by a co-worker and I've been coming ever since. I personally recommend the Sexy Lady Roll. During their busy hours its lively and you can expect a small wait. The best sushi in the Santa Clarita valley if not all of SoCal

Kinza has an excellent variety of rolls and dishes aside from their super fresh sashimi. The place is always super busy so get there early or expect a decent wait.

Great little sushi place, didn't eat any warm food so not sure about that. Sushi was fresh and very tasty!

Sushi was nice and fresh. Very friendly staff. Place could get very busy but worth the wait. They have some nice rolls. Spent $100 on four plates though... kind of pricey.

Favorite sushi spot for years now. Everything is so fresh and delicious. Try the salmon sushi and the "I Did Your Sister" roll. Yakisoba is also great.

One of my local favorites. Amazing food and service. Try to hawaii Kampachi, 5 Stars all day long.

Best sushi in all of Santa Clarita. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a ton of variety especially with rolls that have no rice. Gosh is fresh and tasty. If you are craving sushi in SCV this is the place.
