Went there with my dad and son over Winter break. We went on a Friday afternoon/evening. We went for the gaming experience first and the cafe experience second. I was very surprised when we got there how crowded it was with just cafe go'ers. We had to wait about 20 minutes for a table to open up that would fit the three of us. I don't know if that's typical. However they are not far from Cal so I would I imagine they get a lot of campus traffic when school is in session.

The game selection was outstanding. Lots of different sections with different kinds of games. Party games, puzzle games, strategy games, you name it. Really enjoyed that. If you want access to the game library it's $8/person. If you're just there for the cafe you don't have to pay the library fee. Love all the decor as well. It all tied well into the gaming theme.

Most of the staff was super friendly. However at one point I was trying to point out an issue in the bathroom and tried to get a couple of the staff members attention from the end of the galley. They looked up from their phones but didn't walk down to the end of the galley to hear me. I had to walk all the way around to the register to really get them to pay attention. That was mildly disappointing in terms of the quality of their service. Other than that everyone else I interacted with was terrific.

Good menu with decent selection and variety. Tried two of the pizzas and a sandwich. Everything tasted very good. Would have liked to have seen a few more snack options.

While it can get intense with sophisticated board games and great competitive minds inside a board game cafe, the outdoor booths of Victory Point secretly extends the charm of board games to a new, calmer experience.

Grab a gently lit booth, order a freshly baked pizza, add lavender to your “Babyccino” (hot steamed milk), pick some easy games from the huge game library inside - there you have it, a chilaxing meal after work, after dark, with breeze and ease, yet still colorful and fun.

Staffs are great, you can ask anything, they go above and beyond.

Went here with my girlfriend and her sister while visiting the Berkeley area. Can't say enough how cool this place is. Typical relaxed cafe vibes so it's a great place to study and sip on some coffee. However, they also have a ton of board games. I've had a few different snacks here the couple times I've been as well as several different coffees and never had anything bad. I am however, especially fond of the Mayan. They also keep their bathroom very clean and the staff is nice and if not busy, very conversational and funny.

Seriously amazing coffee and a bunch of games keeps you at this place for hours. Very friendly staff with large open space so seating is comfortable. Fees are low for games and you can stay as long as you like. The atmosphere is a lot it fun and is great to come hang out with a bunch of friends. They also have pizza and other stuff to eat in case you get hungry. Place is perfect.

A great place to spend a whole day with friends playing board games, they have a massive collection of board games spanning from really well known ones like Monopoly or Clue to games I've personally never heard of. Its a great deal only $8 per person to play infinite games for the entire day. Victory point separates its board games into two section a more casual section which have the more well known stuff and thigs that are easy to learn, and a more complex games that will take longer to play and learn.

The food they offer is very good for a Café they offer pizza, drinks, and sandwiches. The pizza and sandwiches are really good and flavorful and at decent price.

Smooth lavender latte (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)🤎🤍💜

The vibe of the entire cafe is pretty relaxing and pleasant. The staff are also very nice. 🥰

They have spacious indoor space and seats, but it's a popular cafe around here, so it might be hard to find a seat if you prefer indoor seating.

You could make reservation for a bigger party, and they have a lot of board games 🎲 wifi is available as well!
They also have weekly events if you're interested :)

The croissants here are amazing.

I came in for a coffee (not for board games) and both the coffee and croissant surprised me by how good they were. I love that this is also a board game hangout spot!

Wow, this place is popping post-Covid!! They expanded and now they’re an incredibly fun place to hangout and play board games, or study (if you don’t mind the noise.)

Turkey pesto sandwich was really good too!

Once a year or so my homies and I book a table for all day and play games - but we keep coming back here to do it. The food is great for a…gaming cafe? Even the salads and pizza. Very cool clientele too. This place makes me want to move to berkeley.

Wouldn't expect people to pay to play board games but the place super popular. Created a great atmosphere to grab a fancy coffee (or beer) and get some work done.

Not exactly a super quiet place but it has its sort of dull roar, background energy to the place if you need to relax.

Came at around 6pm so I'm guessing the vibe is different in the morning or so.

Their donuts are vegan! And really good ;)

Great places, nice game selection (but could use some expansions) and excellent food! I can recommend the turkey mustard club sandwich which goes well with a game of Concordia - that I won!

We went to a designer meetup. We had a blast. The staff was very friendly. I appreciate the large board game library. The hot chocolate was very delicious. The grilled cheese had a bit much when it comes to butter but other than that it was a great experience. Thank for hosting the event!

Just went here with a friend. We wanted.simewhere to hang out that wasn't a bar. It's lovely to have another option. They have a nice selection of games that are organized by number of players and intensity level among others criteria. Coffee is quite good. Prices are reasonable.

Came as a group of 3 and one of use was new to board games. The food was good and the game options were great for all of us. Staff was nice and helpful. The place got somewhat crowded while we were there but there was still room for gaming, lots of space!

Very cool place to hangout, play board games, and get a great cup of coffee. The prices are fair and the place was packed when we came in at 730pm. Their selection of board games is gigantic and the coffee was great. I can't fault the Cafe for this but the two people we sat next to was abysmal. They were making out the entire time and when they got up to leave, someone else took their seat. They proceeded to hover around the table and get in that man's face until he moved so they could "look for something they dropped" which she found in her pocket 15 minutes later. That aside, great great place. Highly recommend.
