Native Son

Good vibe and atmosphere. The food was delicious. Our experience with Leticia was great. She was accommodating and checked in with us. Never had to look for someone. Definitely be back and hope to see the same staff.

Been here a few times during my visit, the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Additionally I got the Herb Roasted Chicken to go, and yall, it was SO GOOD. The Togo containers ar ehuge so the meal looks small, but it was incredibly filling and absolutely perfectly cooked. I highly recommend this place!

Been coming here for about a month now almost every day for a ice coffee they are all so welcoming.
I always have a certain coffee order and every worker has made it just perfect. Definitely recommend, there's always great music playing.

The Chipotle Melt that I got at Native Son was honestly very good and can picture myself craving it in the future as well as the radish salad! Customer service was a little slow, but I completely understand because they were short staffed. In addition, their service was very nice and friendly, I hadn’t liked my mocha drink all that much and they replaced it with an iced caramel macchiato. Will return with friends and family!

Native son is located adjacent to the El Capitan hotel in downtown Merced. The food was good and the staff friendly. The breakfast sandwich had sliced avocado!
The folks there let me fill up my water bottle with ice water.

We had a lovely meal for lunch at Native Son. My sandwich and chips were freshly made with quality ingredients. The staff were kind and helpful.

Had a nice dinner here. Cesar salad with anchovies was amazing. The charcuterie board was surprising tasty. Great service and welcoming ambiance.

This is my GO TO spot for great cocktails and small bites. Always great service and the ambiance is perfection. Perfect for date night!
They also have some of the best coffee in town, and would be perfect for an early morning meeting.

Really nice breakfast place

Went out tonight to celebrate with colleagues. Our waitress, Gabi, was very friendly and attentive despite the ever-increasing crowds post-Merced College graduation. I had the tomato soup and we shared the large cheese platter and the charcuterie board. A decent selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. Very pleasant experience.

Native sun is a delightful experience, from socializing over an excellent cup of joe to the delicious menu. There is something for everyone here. Bring your four footed friend. Native son is very pet friendly. You and all your companions will love this experience!!!!
