My kid and I wandered in here the other day. New to the state and the town and just exploring different food spots. We were blown away. Best breakfast burritos we've ever had. We got the 3 meat (bacon/ham/chorizo) smothered in chili verde.

It was HUGE. Easily 2 or 3 meals depending on your appetite. The flavor was awesome, but warning, the chili verde has a ton of kick, heat-lovers will enjoy it.

This is our favorite place we've eaten so far and will definitely be returning. Rosa and the staff were very friendly and gave us good service too.

The food here is amazing! The green chile and fresh flour tortillas are great! Reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking! I had the picadillo burrito, I highly recommend it! Side note, be cautious outside of the restaurant as I almost got in a fight with a homeless man looking for money…this was due to the limited amount of space inside the restaurant, it is very small. Hopefully this restaurant will upgrade to a better location and building. We would definitely order from here again! Highly recommended!

As a Texan and traveling thru the states because of work, I always look for those hole in the wall places with authentic Mexican food. After being in Layton over 3 months I can’t believe how I didn’t find this place any sooner. Tortillas were delicious, so was the menudo. Staff just made me feel at home. Definitely will be going there back soon to try the restvof the food.

Called ahead and ordered a ham/bacon breakfast burrito smothered in Chile verde to go. I’m a wimp when it comes to heat, and this had plenty of it! But it was so delicious. Service was friendly and I’ll easily get three meals out of this burrito. They specialize in burritos, so that’s their main menu item. I love the quote on the menu, “Small place, small menu, BIG flavor!” It’s so true. Parking isn’t great, but as the sign outside the front says, you can park a little north where a big sign says “Alterations”. Definitely my new place for smothered burritos!

If you ever want to get some authentic Mexican food, this is the place to come! Although the space is quite crowded and small it is a great place to order food and then eat somewhere else (Like I said the place is small so it's easier to have a more enjoyable experience when you eat to go). I definitely recommend the Breakfast Burrito here, it's the iconic special of this place! Great food, great time, would love to come here again!

I also met Rosa who is a very kind and welcoming person. I’ll definitely be back many times to visit this amazing place to try the other burritos.

My wife and I are are Texans born and raised and I can say without a doubt in my mind that this is the best Mexican food in the state of Utah. Rosa is such a sweetheart and the food her family and friends produce in this little restaurant is to die for. The tortillas are completely homemade and you can even see them rolling them out one by one. The beans are incredible and the rice is moist. There is so much flavor and so much food. This will be somewhere we come back to often.

Small place, big flavors. They don’t play here, had some huevos rancheros and the menudo. Feels like walking into my mom’s kitchen, I even started getting flashbacks of the chancla and my mom yelling at me to get out of the way. Stop by, no regrets.

Sooo good! Be warned, Utahns the food here is full of flavor and spice which seems to be a very rare find in this area. The smothered burrito was amazing with a tender tortilla. Everything combined to make a heavenly combo. I could barely stop myself from eating the whole thing, which could have easily feed two people. I will definitely be back!

We visited Rosa’s after traveling on the FrontRunner. We were looking for a good Mexican food place to have lunch and chose Rosa’s. The Cafe is small but has an inviting feel inside. Rosa gave us samples of the different sauces and helped us choose our food. The food is simply delicious. I’ve been here twice now and each time the food was not only delicious but satisfying - not something that is easy I’ll found.

Rosa is a wonderful lady willing to take care of you to ensure you have the best experience. She is humble despite having some of the best Mexican food I’ve tried. If you’re in the area, I don’t think you’ll regret coming here. Hoping to make it a tradition to go here.

Delicious! This quaint little cafe is full of flavor. You can watch them make their tortillas while you wait for your meal. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito plate smothered in Chile Colorado. Mole was on special and I had to try some of that as well. It did not disappoint. Está muy rico.

The food in this place is amazing and the group is so friendly. A nice little place with big flavor. I just wish they had a more open schedule again. I can never catch them when they are open but if you can catch them when they are open, goooooo and eeeeat. You will not regret it.

The Best chili Verde around, I remember when this was the Snappy Service Cafe. I sat at that counter with my father and brother so many times. I miss the Snappy Service, BUT!! I will make new memories here, the food is beyond good. Be ready it's Spicy they even have a warning sign, - it's not that spicy, but if you have tender taste buds take small bites. Check the times before you go, they're not open regular restaurant hours. I have shown up a couple times with a watery mouth only to find out I need to make it for another time.

This place has been around since the late 1930s as a restaurant. It's been in Rosa's hands for the last 8 years though.

This is hands down, the best Mexican food I've had in the past 23 years I've been in Utah! The menu is small and so is the inside of the café, but don't let that mislead you. The food is full of flavor and the portions are huge! Actually, the food may be a little too spicy for Utahns who are accustomed to bland Mexican food.

I recommend the chili verde smothered burrito or the chicken mole burrito when it is on special.

Parking is hard to find in peak hours.

Authentic Mexican food. The mixed breakfast burrito warms your soul with a side of chili verde which is flavorful AND hot . Homemade tortillas homemade everything!! The most authentic in Ogden, the taste of my California childhood.

Super small place but it is really good! The Chile verde has some heat but it’s sooo yummy! The parking situation is a little rougher but it’s worth it for the food. Will definitely be eating here again.

The best breakfast burrito you'll ever have! A hidden gem in ogden! Cute restaurant tucked away on Washington Blvd. Family run and excellent food. Presentation is excellent and hot from the kitchen. Honestly the best green chili I've ever had. Can't wait to go back. Once it's discovered there will be a line around the block. Don't miss it.

Wow, I'm from El Paso, mexican food capital of the southwest and I had to come all the way to Ogden Utah to get great menudo. It was tasty, full of meat (clean meat) and a good quantity. If you're ever in this neck of the woods you've got to try this place. Thank you!!!!

I cannot express enough how much I love this place. The owner, Rosa, is so sweet, I’m sure she works there every day her restaurant is open. I saw her working in the back, making food and cleaning tables. The food is INCREDIBLE. I got the chorizo breakfast burrito plate and was blown away. The flour tortillas are home made, the refried beans are some of the best I’ve had, the burrito was ginormous and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat, I will definitely be returning. The best Mexican food I’ve had in Utah.
